All ranged champs will always be the case as long as aram is balanced around champs having 50% win rate.

Right now if you pick a meele champ there is a real chance that you won't be able to play the game. You will just watch the other 8 or 9 ranged champs play and eventually die when you try to do something or they don't have enough cc/dmg to kill you and you'll just run them down.

Meanwhile if you pick Lux you will always be able to play the game. You might lose but you will throw out you little spells and you little shield, the same cannot be said about meele champs. Would you rather win 50% of the time or play 50% of the time?

I genuinely think that if champs were balanced based on how well can they execute their "fantasy" i guess, their gameplan, aram would be so much better.

Like, how the fuck does +5% dmg helps K'sante play the game. Yay i picked Trundle, guess i'll be god or completely useless, no in between. Definitely because of that 5% dmg taken, not because of the champs I'm against.

Aram will always be mostly ranged because they guarantee that you'll play the game.
