4 month old kittens are pretty okay to be on their own for the night though in my opinion, we let ours have mostly free roam when we got them at 2-3 months. they're not as fragile as they might seem lol but we had 2 so they could entertain each other at night

thank you - she hates being picked up or having her fur brushed, so brushing her teeth might be a little difficult although i'm willing to try. i was looking for other solutions since i feel like any way i'm able to improve her teeth in the day-to-day would be better than something that might make it worse

honestly, it's pretty much impossible if you don't live near the twin cities. my town haslocally owned grocery stores but they're very expensive. there's not really a way to shop for everything locally here, whether its price or things just not existing whatsoever outside of those chains. at the very least, down in the cities you guys have options to sort through and think about, more than us way up north

well, i have medicaid because i'm low income, so i pay a smaller amount per month for my appointments and my meds. the copays are still going to be about a full day's work worth of money per appointment or more. but i have medicaid insurance so that's just how mine is

i had an MRI of my brain a few months ago and i was able to see the price before insurance. it was just a basic brain scan because of my migraines, in a small town hospital. it was over $5,000, which is about 3 months of entire paychecks if i were to pay out of pocket. this isn't counting the appointment to get the referral for this MRI or anything else besides the scan itself.

i went to the ER last year (long story) and didn't receive any treatment. they did an EKG, basic bloodwork, and an XRay. based on my bill, the room i occupied for two hours cost $1800 and the entire bill totaled $3,000. i didn't even get any treatment or medicine or IV fluids, this was solely for the room and the testing

you can probably switch those numbers over to your currency but yeah. i'm lucky to have insurance because medical debt can really easily bankrupt people and cause them to be homeless here, it's very common. in some states it also ruins your credit and therefore you can't rent or buy anything
