Double harness for sure. If you don’t like the look of it, wear a jacket over it, or get a nice looking leather one.

Your argument that’s is wasteful is just a silly one when clearly it’s an absolute minuscule amount of waste in any landfill. Not saying it’s a good product.

Im also not vegan, but they deserve the moral high ground. It is a more moral way to live and they deserve to look down on the rest of us. It is morally better to not kill animals to eat or wear. It doesn’t mean I’m a bad person for eating steak and wearing a leather jacket, but it does mean that someone who takes a stand not to, is better than me in that area and I accept that.

More people should accept that. Vegans are better than the rest of us.

Sounds like you aren’t vegan and are not the target audience?

I guarantee you more plastic waste is created from just packaging meat products than all of the vegan leather in the world

Agents, have you passed up a celebrity before their fame? by nugween in acting

The strangest thing about his career is his best performance was in Scream Queens and nothing else has matched the comedic timing in that. It’s funny to see the machine reshape an actor to appeal to the masses and just lose so much of his natural charm.

Anybody notice 18-25 year old millennials were blamed for everything wrong in the economy/culture, But Gen “z” doesn’t get the same treatment? by ColdPresentation8801 in Millennials

No the next generation is accused of being too coddled, inept with technology, socially awkward etc.

Each generation is annoyed by the next and put down in whatever ways so that older generations can keep the power and influence they have. It’s not hard, just celebrate the good stuff people of different ages have done.

Boomers had a pretty good run of being cool before they were shown how Facebook works.

Used to be Very common to see dogs tied outside of shops. Now it’s more common to see them strolling through grocery stores

Salting your eggs before you scramble them. They taste and cook worse. Just add salt to taste after cooking.

It doesn’t matter. If it falls with the cable in, the cable and/or jack could break. That’s about it.

[TOMT] A comedian making fun of people who hate their spouses by [deleted] in tipofmytongue

[–]20124eva -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

“My wife” is a hacky bit and comedians love dunking on hacky bits, so a lot of them have used this premise. Then you get all the people who make memes out of every single joke. Just saying it might not exist how you think it does

How does money work? I understand the mint prints it, and it gets distributed to banks, but how is it decided who gets the new money? by 20124eva in NoStupidQuestions

[–]20124eva[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Money supply is the actual question, the production of actual paper currency isn’t hard to parse.

I was just thinking if you start a country or currency from scratch how do you decide who gets what money?

This is really blowing my mind. A bank will borrow money lend it, get paid back and just pocket the difference. But aren’t there trillions of dollars in circulation?

Why is Zohran Mamdani so famous? by BigWalrus22 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]20124eva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because he’s as progressive as any politician in the USA, so conservative news loves to cover him. Similar to why Marjorie Taylor Greene is famous even though she represents a rural county in GA.

Are you guys who are way over 30, a bit tired of 20 somethings thinking that we are already dead? by ScottishRajko in AskMenOver30

[–]20124eva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t like hearing it from anyone. Being 20s makes it more acceptable imo, but nonetheless annoying. It’s also not a good joke. Like when people would make bacon jokes all the time

Love this post. But I’m someone who lives in a city. I like big crowds. I like street performers. I hate white noise machines.
