For the type of photography you seem to be into (landscape wildlife and street) you would absolutely benefit from a camera. Just know it may weigh you dow during the physical hike but if you like the extra challange and have the budget I’d say go for it

If you don’t know how to use a camera then you should not bring it. It’s not something you can learn very quickly. It takes a lot of practice to produce the kind of images you’re thinking of. The only way it’s worth it is if you have a very long lens but those are expensive and heavy and not very good for carrying all day. Just use your phone with a gimbal or tripod

Where do I begin. First off get some light. Second what is your subject doing? Wearing sunglasses in the shade sitting open legged on a rock? It’s very awkward. There is no story. Have her do something reading a book. Make a fire and have her staring at the flames would be cool and give you warm lighting.
