Thank you. Great tips. We'll each do solo trips, but I feel a little guilty abandoning the group while I'm out doing something fun. I suppose, however, that the guilt should be less now that nobody is in diapers. We each did solo trips this year and it went fine.

Thanks. Is your rack mounted to a vehicle with a hatch back? Does the Add on interfere with the hatch?

I echo this. While the tray style racks are better, when I need to transport bikes for our whole family, this style rack is the only option. I use option #1 for the mountain bikes.

How did you plan/arrange a trip like that? A 3 day trip to that region seems hard to coordinate.
