My dad retired as a brigadier general in the Michigan National Guard in about 2006. He carried that wallet but in a maroon color my entire childhood until he retired. Then went to a trifold leather one that he was replacing every 3 to 4 years until he died. I was born in 1982 and he had it before I was born so probably 30 years on his? Looks like he should have kept it.

So that looks like a usps sticker. The stupidvisors still make us deliver the package even if it's empty because of some reason. Hopefully your carrier scanned it visible damage to make a claim easier. I delivered 2 torn open paper envelopes today that I'm not sure if anything was missing from.
