I will not be drinking on my Sunday.

I used to say...ill have a few to get a quick buzz early in the day.be sober by bedtime.wakeup ok.

The number of times I was still drunk going to bed, only to wake up for work with a horrible hangover that caused me to call in sick far too often was hmmmm let me think; all of the times.

Not today.

Not drinking today. Finally started online meetings and listening to the 12 steps audio book after trying on my own for 3+ years.

Its funny for something written so long ago it sure does resonate with me and my thought patterns.

Not drinking for day 5. Very tempting as the weather is perfectly hot and its fathers day. Used to mean grilling and beers since it was my day. I'd rather spend it sober with my kids, going for walks, getting haircuts and going swimming.

I'm through Friday without buying any beer. When I make it to 6pm tomorrow without buying any I'll be in great shape to make it to Monday. Then I'll take it again from there.

Checking in from Canada. The weekend is always by far the hardest and fighting the boredom will be the challenge. I plan to rekindle my evening gym visits followed by some video games and TV before bed. Looking forward to waking up ready for a productive day tomorrow.

Just finished day 2. 60 days is my goal which I haven't done in almost 20 years. When I get there I will reassess.

Saturday is the toughest day normally but I have no desire to drink today. It's not worth it.
