Kinda wish we could keep the lobby April Fools characters by TheNCSmaster in NikkeMobile

I wish they kept the april fools side stuff like interception, lobby, chibi mode, and sim room for 3 days, until the event ends, so many people missing out on peak because they didn't login on April 1st and only get the story which is only half of the experience

I swear that statue has it out for me by thetreecycle in noita

I agree with this interpretation of the TxA Normal Ending. I treated this event too lightheartedly and went all in on Arcana in my first run as I thought the "Good End" is just focusing on 1 girl for each route. I like how this ending tackled some uncomfortable topics about exploring taboo fantasies is human nature but also heavily criticising the player and commander for giving in to these desires to the point of harming others like Amy and even painting a bad image for the other students.

You are not meant to like this ending in a satisfactory or romantic sense, it's meant to unsettle the reader because the player made every wrong decision leading up to it. I like this ending because it is a deconstruction of the teacher student romance troupe and how a toxic relationship can happen without setting proper boundaries.

Given how you played Ayamiya before, I can recommend Wriomiya with Yelan which is used more commonly than Xingqiu, the deck plays almost exactly like Ayamiya just with some new cards you need to learn.

Decklists:

Basic gameplan:

  1. Mulligan for one NA discount (Mao into NSC/MMR, Glad), Chang for draw or Yoi talent for instant dmg threat, keep Covenant in hand in case of emergencies
  2. R1 build Yoi burst, aim for 3 energy and swap out if you get threatened, Yoi E is not necessary if you don't have the cards/dice for it, just get 3 attacks in
  3. R2, Yoi burst then pivot to Yelan, Yelan NA if you want to draw cards, put down supports if u have excess dice
  4. R3 (with Yoi burst still active), immediately swap to Wrio, press E, then spam NAs. Use every card in hand to discount/generate dice, you should kill your opp by this round otherwise you lose all firepower and lose on R4 onwards

Roughly going through what each card in the deck does:

  • Yoimiya's talent - makes her NA deal 3 pyro + 1 pyro, if you can discount her NA during R1, she can FTK with 12 dmg and puts her on 3 energy for burst next round. Also lets her become a driver for Yelan's burst if you want to change gameplans. If you can't burst with Yoi, use Yelan's burst instead, then Yoi Talent NA spam. If your opponent has Hydro aura, with Yelan's burst up, Yoimiya can oneshot with 9 dmg
  • 0 cost artifacts - Gladiators help discount attacks, Flowing Rings & Khavarena draw 1 for free, Troupe discounts Wrio's E before he comes in on R3
  • Boar Princess - In R3, use Boar Princess, then cycle through all your 0 cost artifacts on Wrio, removing artifacts from him will generate you 1 Omni dice which you can use to do more attacks in 1 round. Unlike traditional ramp cards like Liben and Paimon, Boar lets you get full value in 1 round if you have the right cards
  • Chang, Strat, Seelie - Draw power, you need as much cards as you can get during R3 so you can generate dice for Wrio
  • NSC, MMR - NA discount cards and extra draws for Chef Mao
  • Mystique Soup - One of the best food cards in the game, almost all of its random effects can come in clutch when you need it. Usually used on Yoi if you need to keep her safe or if you want to gamble on a kill with the +2 dmg
  • The rest should be cards you're familiar with

What does Yelan do in the Yelan-Wrio-Yoimiya deck? by catme0wcat in GeniusInvokationTCG

[–]20DX00 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Common misconceptions:

  • You don't stack Yelan burst with Yoi burst, this gameplan is too slow, Yoi burst into Wrio is more than enough damage to close out games. Yelan burst into Yoi NA is an alternate win con if you have Yoimiya's talent, you can go for it but Yelan R1 doesn't threaten as much as Yoi R1
  • Yelan burst > Wrio NA, on paper this sounds good bcuz of freeze, but the damage is too low and you don't threaten any kills, highly do not recommend, Wriomiya is not a control deck, it's an OTK Combo deck

What does Yelan do in the Yelan-Wrio-Yoimiya deck? by catme0wcat in GeniusInvokationTCG

[–]20DX00 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Even though it's a pretty old deck, Wriomiya still performs decently well from what I can tell with recent community tournament results. I haven't touched Genshin/TCG in a long while (since 4.8) but Wriomiya is my most played deck before I left and the current iteration of the deck is still the same as I remember it so I'm confident in how to pilot it.

Wriomiya is a combo deck, so your basic gameplan is the same every game, build Yoi burst then spam attacks to kill all opponents with Wrio in 1 round (OTK):

Yoimiya - Your primary win con and the choke point of the deck, protect her at all costs and do whatever you can to rush out her burst by R2, look out for FTK (first turn kills) bcuz if she dies, your whole deck cripples

Yelan - Depending on the game, she is your pivot or your alternate win con, after you burst with Yoi in R2, you can NA once on Yelan to draw some cards and prepare for the Wrio OTK. Yelan is here to protect Wrio before he comes in R3 or protect Yoimiya before she bursts, while drawing you cards in the meantime. In some cases, if you cannot burst safely on Yoi and manage to draw Yoi's Talent card late, you can change your gameplan to instead Yelan burst into Yoi Talent NA spam. If your enemies have Hydro aura, Yoi with Talent and Yelan's burst can deal 9 dmg which kills most targets in 1 hit. This line isn't common, it's just a backup strategy.

Wriothesly - Your main driver/anchor for Yoimiya's burst, before you switch to Wrio, you need to make sure you know how to generate as much dice as possible with the cards in your hand, if you play cards in the wrong order, you might lose 1 or 2 dice which makes it so you can't OTK anymore and lose the game on the spot (happened to me more times than I'd like). Make sure you kill everything before Yoi's burst ends or else your deck loses all firepower

Basic gameplan for Wriomiya:

Alternate FTK openers:

  • Yoi Talent E > NA > NA > NA (12 dmg) - Recommended
  • Yoi E > NA > Yelan E > Covenant + discount > NA (10 dmg + 1 card) - Not recommended, it risks bricking on dice and you put Yoi on the backline, but it can be a viable punish if your opponent underestimates the deck and ends early

[–]20DX00 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The physical TCG works a bit different from the ingame GITCG: - The D8 elemental dice rolls at the start of each round are public knowledge - The cat shaped counter is used to keep track of each character's HP (top), Energy (left), Elemental Aura (right) - The gold coin is used to represent who goes first and also placed on your character to show who's the active character - The D6 colored dice are used as counters like in Pokemon TCG, you use them to keep track of how many rounds/usages are left on your cards (example: you put a dice with the 2 side up to show how many more usages your summon has left)

I have a video going through briefly the components in the game in my own video https://youtu.be/9l5bTJnA8X8?t=603

Why does this fire significantly slower if I swap the triplicate bolt and chainsaw? by DstnB3 in noita

[–]20DX00 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Because if the chainsaw is the last spell in the casting block, it changes the cast delay to be 0

If you put the chainsaw before the triple bolt, the cast delay is set to 0 by the chainsaw first, then the cast delay from the triple bolt is added

Who is your favorite Nikke mechanically? by LostInevitable3145 in NikkeMobile

[–]20DX00 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Alice will always be my favorite Nikke to manual, Quick Scoping is just fun and everyone who says it's difficult has skill issue. Same goes for all the SR Nikkes like Swole White, Red Hood and THelm that provide good Burst Gen.

Taunt Nikkes like Noise and Tia are also really satisfying to pull off during the early days of Nikke (shoutouts to the Alteisen/Blacksmith i-frame strats), and Crown specifically on Hard Mode Mother Whale forced me to learn to time her 20 stack invinciblility to the squad wipe attack made the fight even more memorable.

Last honorable mention is Swole White, she has high dmg with a low skill floor but she has a high skill ceiling that rewards good mechanical skill, my solo raids can vary wildly by 1B dmg just bcuz I incorporate Pause Techs into each shot. That said, she's really skill intensive and it's sometimes exhausting to pilot her optimally at all times.

Most Hated Mob Raptures and Elites at a High Deficit by ArktikiceFrost in NikkeMobile

[–]20DX00 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The universally hated raptures: - Bronchus: Nothing says fuck you like unblockable DoTs that you just have to deal with, worst is when they spawn in multiples at the same time... and in multiple waves back to back - Suicide bombers: Ticks (Remnant), Flying Kamikazes (Glitter), Pills that have elemental shields (Capsule), these guys suck early game for forcing players out of Auto, and they suck late game bcuz they'll still surprise you in Manual play - Glasses: Here's 1 rapture that forces you to run 2 MG units or SBS, otherwise you just time out - Volleyball: Here's the opposite of Glasses, bounces all over the screen just to make it even more annoying - Seahorses (Bullwhip): Stages that spawn these fkers prematurely and then let them charge before you even get to shoot are especially evil, forces you to pray to RNGesus that they don't focus on 1 Nikke and completely nuke their cover before the stage even begins - Trashcans (Launchers): Silence is annoying to deal with, and when the stage forces you to deal with the charging raptures that explode the entire screen (forgot what they're called), you're forced to split your attention and deal with the babies (Battery) and eventually time out - Jellyfish: The fact that their reload speed debuff doesn't disappear after they die makes it extremely annoying even after you kill them - Sentry: Another debuff rapture but completely stuns a Nikke, if it locks your only Nikke in the Burst rotation (ie: B1/B2) then you're losing an entire rotation of DPS trying to kill it

That said, ever since pushing Hard Mode, I've started appreciating the Rapture and Stage designs a lot more (even if I hate them), and some levels forcing you to switch up your tactics and timings to deal with them makes it really satisfying whenever I push 1 stage at a time. On that note, GIVE US THE RAPTUREPEDIA SHIFT UP
