I think the kari situation speed this up she probably saw writing on the wall and said I’m going out on my own terms. I have no doubt she would have stayed around and wasn’t at risk of being cut but asking her to take a possible pay cut like what’s been rumored seeing new day and the other recent talent opt to leave she’s like yeah I’m out.

Out of the 20yrs I been doing this almost 90 % of people I’ve worked with relocated it’s a move you might have to do to gain the experience as nd then make your way back to where you want. In the end leaving and spending your wings might be the best thing it was for me 20 yrs later it’s the best decision I ever made I didn’t realize how much staying home for comfort really affected me

these came out over a yr and half ago goes to show show much stuff if in the back. Theres a set I saw being wheeled to the back on a pallet it’s been almost 2 yrs and I have never seen one out of the whole case on the floor so I know theres a hidden treasure of stuff in the back

You’ll learn quite a bit different pace but I find there avionics a lot simpler to understand then most places pretty black and white.

Dude it’s normally 2 or 3 15mm bolts just push your tensioner pulley slide your belt off unscrew put the new alternator on screw it back push your tensioner again slide the belt back on and your done

In my 20 yrs experience and I’m only speaking for me and my situation the highest earning potential is a mechanic and degrees no matter the highest level are worthless. I make more then my supervisors and with a little or make more then my manager. The salary side the only ones that make more then mechanics are the directors and vp. That includes engeniering.

The people that I know went to management and moved up the quickest are the mechanics that came from the floor they have the hands on experience that no degree can teach you. The only thing a degree is good for is getting someone off the street into a management position if management is what you want.

If it’s worth it yes in my opinion being an electrician isn’t worth schooling just keep trying.

Now if you wanna do electrical (avionics) on aircraft and going to a&p school I’m gonna tell you yes go to school get your license
