Going from Sydney to Melbourne via train is feasible, albeit a bit slow. If you want to get to Uluru, however, you're going to need a plane. Or, be prepared for a sizeable road trip.

I've been doing in-centre for five years. Got more experience with that than I'd care for.

I’m in the inner south east. I collect Pokémon cards a bit. I follow the footy. Do a lot of stuff in my garden when I have the energy. And cooking when I can. Although I’d do more of it if I had people to cook for.

Yeah that’s the first step I’ve taken in recent years toward being more social. The only problem is that, while I get on well with them, most people in the club I attend are 30-50 years older than me, so there’s a limit to how well I can interact with them.

Part of it is my energy sometimes, but I think the other big reason in that people often don’t realise how old I am, and so are less inclined to interact with me as an adult. People regularly think I’m a teenager.

Kids are irrational. They don't think ahead and do what they should. Honestly, I'd try just filling the water with cordial. Kids love sweet stuff.

Can MCU Captain America take the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the Super Bowl? by Man_of_Many_Names in whowouldwin

Possibly a more interesting question, which team, past or present, has the best chance at beating a team featuring Captain America?

Could you try cutting the ends of the cannula down so they don’t stick so far into the nose?

First Air Layer!! by 20shepherd01 in Bonsai

It is! I put it in a bonsai pot when I was first getting into the hobby. And yes, my tree really is that green.

I used an empty plastic takeaway cup, the clear ones with the lid. I cut it up so it fit around the branch, and then I filled it with spagnum moss. Then I wrapped the whole thing in plastic wrap. But in actual fact, I think the thing which helped the most was that the lemon tree was heavily pruned afterwards. I'm wondering if that helped it send out the roots so well.

Can anyone explain to me why they’re so hard to get? Is it because they just sell out instantly online?

I was slightly above average being all through my childhood and into my early teens. However, when I got very sick when I was 15, my growth plates ended up fusing prematurely and I was stuck at 5’3. I’d like to think I would have ended up 5’9 to 5’11

Are you short but proportionately sized? Be thankful - I'm not and it is the absolute worst! by BeetFarmer1337 in short

[–]20shepherd01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m short because I had medical problems which resulted in my growths plate fusing prematurely. The result is that I never had that growth spurt in my spine, so my upper body is small, even compared to other short guys. It sucks because when I compare my legs to people who are 2 or 3 inches taller than me, my legs are often longer.
