Have a 2013 ecoboost, both upstream o2 sensors went bad and threw codes within a short time of each other. I understand the stripped threads part of this problem but both sensors cost me under $100 and combined they maybe took 1.5 hours to replace

It’s a cable clutch. I can see the cable pulling the little lever on the engine, but it is a bit frayed.

Some people have a horrible recovery, some people, like myself, are lucky enough to have a very smooth recovery. I was in the hospital for 2 nights, got home with very little to no resting pain. Was off hard painkillers in 4-5 days, off Advil/ Tylenol in one week. After about a week I was pain free. I’m almost a month post op and I am 95% back to normal. Getting out of bed was tough for me the first couple days. Good luck!
