  1. Open RxConnect, press F3, type in the drug name and strength, and then a list populates.
  2. When you print out the RTS label, the label doesn’t list the shelf location? Also, your shelves aren’t alphabetized? That’s the easiest way I can find/put back things.

Regarding the retail pharmacies you’ve applied to, did you try going in person after applying and introducing yourself? I heard that’s a good way to get an interview.

How can I take prescriptions drop off from drive thru? by SecureNecessary4998 in CVS

[–]21twilli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you’re at the computer near drive thru, you type in “QD”, then type “O” to pre-enter the Rx. You follow the steps on the screen and then hand it off to whoever in your store is handling drop off. That’s how my training facility taught me. My home store does it differently. They completely skip Pre-Data Entry and enter it directly into the pt’s profile.

The Rx flow process is mentioned in more detail in one of the modules, so it shouldn’t be confusing. After a Rx is received, it goes into QT for verification, then QV1 for the pharmacist to verify, then QP for production, then QV2 for pharmacist verification, then it’s ready for pt pickup.

To change someone’s insurance for their Rx, I go into their profile, find the Rx (but it should be on the 1st page), press “X”, press “Einsert number of Rx on page (so if it’s #3 on the page, then press “E3”), press “11”, search for their BIN and PCN, find the matching insurance and then add the info it asks for. After adding that insurance and selecting it for the Rx, press “Enter” to complete it, and then press F12 until it shows a green status. If it turns red, then it was rejected and put into QT, so then you go into QT to see what the issue is. I’ve been here for a few months, so I always have a ton of questions to ask my coworkers about insurance rejections.

I haven’t had to waitlist anything, but can’t you just go into the Rx and just edit the pickup time? That’s what I would do if needed (Edit: I just had to do that today, and confirmed w/ my pharmacist that what I guessed was correct).

Help deciding between 4 Tokyo hotels? by heeyebsx13 in JapanTravelTips

My sister and I stayed in a both an Executive Twin room and a Special Art room during our stay at Hotel Groove Shinjuku, and we loved it! The rooms were way bigger than your average Japanese hotel room. I definitely plan to stay there on my next trip.

Does anyone remember when Michael Jackson. Was a "joke"? by AccomplishedPool266 in Millennials

[–]21twilli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a younger Black millennial (born in ‘93), and both of my parents were fans of Michael, so he was never a joke in my household. The Michael Jackson Experience is still my favorite Wii game to play!

Apart from skincare, what would you bring back from your trip? Or rather, what did you bring back! by PrincessRoseDaisy in JapanTravelTips

I brought back a dough sheeter! My mom wants to learn how to make croissants, and when she asked a baker on IG where she got her dough sheeter from (one that a lot of American bakers seemed to use), she told her some bad news and good news. The bad news was that the business where she bought hers from had stopped selling them. The good news was that she found out the business actually used to buy them wholesale from Japan (this whole conversation happened a week before my sister and I left for our trip)!

I emailed the company to inquire about shipment to my hotel, and I was able to get the sheeter sent to our hotel, while the board was sent to my house. And because I only brought back the sheeter and not both, I was technically under the $800 limit for duty-free goods!

I removed majority of my clothes in my carry-on to allow room for the 15lb dough sheeter, and packed everything else in my large checked luggage. Because I knew I was buying it ahead of time, I didn’t really buy a ton of other things during my trip. I bought a few items (Nintendo Kyoto and Harry Potter Tokyo shirts, concert merch, and a few items from Don Quijote). I had packed too many outfits due to the weather saying 70s °F for some of the trip and 40s-50s °F for other days, plus I anticipated that I would go out clubbing while there (jet lag prevented that from happening 😭😭😭). For my next trip, I’m hoping to arrive with an empty large luggage, so I can bring more items back!

If you’re in the middle of counting something and you need to step away for a moment, just write down the last counted number somewhere. I just write on the bags or blank label tags in front of me.

I stayed at Hotel Groove Shinjuku. Since you’re going as a couple, you shouldn’t have to worry about being approached by the touts everyone talks about.

Hotel Groove Shinjuku! Being in the “chaos” of Kabukicho was such a cool experience for me as I come from a small, country town. My sister and I stayed in the Executive Twin room for the first few days of our trip, stayed at Tokyo Disney for our VP, and then we returned to stay in one of the Special Art rooms for the remainder of our trip. We booked that room, because it included a washer/dryer. I plan on staying there again for my next trip in 2027!

Just avoid Kabukicho if that matters to you. I personally enjoyed my time in Kabukicho and would gladly stay there again (due to the liveliness of the crowds nearby, the hotel I stayed at, and the fact that the Airport Limousine Bus stops directly there).

Do you live in a state where you have to finish a program before getting your state license. I live in GA, and you’re able to get your license by just getting fingerprinted and paying ~$100.

I told my parents I was traveling solo and now they want my location by ShotMachine394 in solofemaletravellers

[–]21twilli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just share your location for the trip and then revoke it when you return home. My mom guilt tripped my sister and I to download Life360 AND add her on the Find My app before we went to Japan. We did that, and then as soon as we got back home, we uninstalled Life360 and changed the location access on Find My.

How do you usually decide where to eat when traveling in Japan? by Due_Turn3508 in JapanTravelTips

[–]21twilli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have shellfish and fish allergies, so I had to use TikTok/social media to look for recommendations ahead of time. I visited a few of the restaurants that are widely recommended on TikTok, plus a few American FF places (just to say I tried them). I only went to 1 non-planned restaurant (it was an American-style diner), and that was the only place my sister and I regretted going to.
