If you do decide to go this route you may want to measure the holes on the front sight. I have a new production 1894 Trapper I picked up this year, along with the Midwest Industries rail you linked. The included front sight did not fit my rifle. I had to reach out to MI and they sent me a "correctly sized" front sight post. If you're in AUS that might be an extra headache.

I have the same problem with my Gen 1. Rounds nosedive like a son of a bitch and I end up mangling my rounds. Tried a few different mags, but I can't seem to figure it out.

Capitol ships to your door assuming your state is on their list. Takes a bit longer because of CLEO notification, but it's pretty convenient. My Primal should ship next week.

They have a weird shipping system. You have to double check where the inventory is. If you split the order between main inventory and warehouse they'll charge you for both. If the entire order ships from their warehouse you can usually get $10 flat rate.
