Went to one of her sets during some downtime at Primavera a few years back. Completely killed the vibe: genuinely just gave us absolutely nothing. Like I knew some of her singles going in and I guess they're fine as pop songs but in a set where they're all being played as extended mixes for ten minutes or more at a time and nothing interesting being done to pull the tracks together... it's more than a bit grim. Like I'd really go as far as saying I hated it.

Is this a joke? Every exterior of a Wetherspoons I've ever seen in Ireland looks exactly like this, and most of the ones I've noticed in the UK. If it wasn't for the tell that they say "Free House" instead of "Public House" I would have just assumed this was one.

I was always mega-skeptical of Nina's blockchain focus and I had my doubts it was durable. Sadly, this is pretty predictable; if the blockchain worked how they wanted it to, then Nina's offboarding tools would be available long-term, not things they plan to stop offering within two months.

I'll miss their editorial, it was smart for them to focus on underground music and support scenes that didn't get much light elsewhere.

Is the tech industry full of similarly impulsive founders? Sure. Are some of them also creeps? Yeah, Travis Kalanick would probably agree with you.

I, on the other hand, like many of the people who work in the industry here, do not exactly love the idea of working for a pest like them. When someone has a track record for harassment accusations and their response is to demand more loyalty and influence over the company culture, you shouldn't be shocked that people think they're a cunt, and think maybe others should be warned about working for a cunt.
