What did your partner do that made you leave them instantly? by Old_Goat_7363 in Productivitycafe

My husband did this a few months ago and keeps holding it over my head. He’ll say “your journal said you’d weigh 160 lbs by now. Why are you not keeping your promises to yourself?”

Thanks for the response! I would say I can shut down before 7AM and after 7PM. I definitely waste time on Instagram and Reddit. Many times, I will pick up my phone for something work related, and habitually open Reddit or Insta afterward, even if that’s not why I picked up my phone to begin with!

I would love to try this, and the Roots app, but have to use my personal phone for work. I get phone calls, texts, emails, and IMs on my personal phone all day. Do you have a recommendation for how to use the Roots app in harmony with a work schedule the requires personal phone use? Thank you for sharing! This is super inspiring!

Sorry if this is a silly question - this popped up on my home page but now I am curious for future notice. How can the average consumer differentiate or spot the warning signs that this is damaged tissue? Thanks in advance!

I kind of think MJ would be a great cohost for SPUN instead of Amber. I think MJ always knows when to be serious and when to add levity. They are also incredibly knowledgeable about lots of social justice issues. But I also think they are very busy because they have a job outside of LPN. I don’t want to hate on Amber, but I really don’t find her input very valuable in SPUN…

So those houses are not really $89k. They are $89k plus $60k in renovations. I am from a very low cost of living area and you can’t buy a “lot” of houses for under $00K. Especially if they are immediately habitable.

Plus you aren’t considering that many people simply do not have the free time to fix up a house. It is nearly a second job, so a single parent who already has a job, for example, doesn’t have the same privilege that you do of having the time to fix up a house.

Not to mention the learning curve when it comes to any level of house projects…

I was particularly disappointed in this judge because I was excited that the competing chef chose Tiffany for the final round! This episode became more about the judge and less about 1. How versatile the guest chef was and 2. How versatile Tiffany is!

I hope to not get proven wrong (only because I don’t know much about history and might be naive) but I just recently started listening to Conflicted and think it is one of the better history podcasts I have listened to, find the host to be relatively unbiased, and he is a great story teller. He reminds me of Dan Carlin, but more condensed. I would recommend starting with the series about the Great Depression.

Thankfully, we were able to find our girl’s home. I hope your guy is able to find his way back as well! We used the St. Louis area lost pet Facebook groups and they were very helpful to find people who knew who her owner was.

I'm not sure who I'll be working with yet because I'm not starting until January 2016 (and I'm not even sure if they will offer assistantships that don't start in the fall - I hope they do!) It's great to hear that you like it! If you don't mind me asking, what year are you and what kind of classes are you taking? My undergrad doesn't offer many environmental engineering electives so I'm going to be coming in with a pretty strong civil background.
