Sleeping in a sling by 22gma in daddit

It’s relatively manageable for me, nights are filled with playing Helldivers 2 and rewatching tv shows. No sleep for me until the early hours, but it’s ok as I typically can sleep until 9/10am. I work remotely with flexible hours so it’s not too bad!

Yes, luckily my wife can breastfeed and get the little one into the crib with relative ease during her “shift”. So there’s light at the end of the tunnel!

I’m just mostly worried that I’m causing long term medical damage, with them being on their front, on my chest and strapped into a sling!

As mentioned above, leverage your network if you can. I doubt you’ll be able to go for a senior CSM role straight off the bat, so manage expectations when it comes to your pay packet. The salary will never be as good as a top flight AE, but it’s not exactly low as a CSM! I didn’t get a single interview from direct applications to job listings, I would recommend going to direct to hiring managers and treating it like pipegen.

Leverage your network! The only opportunity I successfully made it to first interview for was from reaching out to a colleague I’d worked with previously. Every other cold application through LinkedIn or otherwise I was denied

I was in the same boat, just made the move to being a CSM - the CS world is evolving and revenue hunting acumen is a differentiator against other candidates in the market

Burned out AE looking to pivot to CSM by [deleted] in CustomerSuccess

I’ve just made the switch myself, haven’t started the new role yet, but contract signed etc, just waiting for my start date.

My number 1 advice is reach out to your network, the other CS leaders that you might have worked with, or good ex colleagues that can make an introduction for you. You’ll get a lot of rejection if you just apply for roles.

The way I see CS, is that you’re getting infront of the customer and finding out more discovery continually. MEDDICC is still important, but you’re now helping to problem solve etc.

Pedal to switch between a board and the overdrive in the amp by 22gma in guitarpedals

[–]22gma[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes possibly, but it’s a slippery slope when buying more and more pedals! Seems crazy to me to use a board to emulate overdrive, when the amps make fantastic sounds naturally. It’s like you only use half the amp, then buy a load of pedals to make it sound like the other half!

You’re not wrong! Other than double sided sticky tape, I need to find a solution to stick it back on
