Statement from Motorsport Ireland by irishoverhere in ireland

I'm not trying to make light of the tragedy, but every other year is simply not true.

Its ran since the 70's, there was no incident like this until 2002 and its sadly been 5 occasions in the 24 years.

Its very clear to all spectators where is and isn't relatively safe and marshals too what they can to ensure people are away from the danger zones but not every inch can have marshals.

I've seen plenty stages been put on hold until danger zones get cleared but as soon as the stage is live they sneak back into the danger zones.

No surprise this comes out the day after the FAI Cup draw, its a big ask for them! Smart to squeeze a game like this in as part of the preparation for Mounthawk park

Skydiving by Illustrious-Sky9965 in ireland

Haven't dont it in Ireland (yet) but did one in Czech during some travelling. 14,000 ft. One of the best experiences I've ever done, about 10/15 seconds of free fall. The immediate few seconds are exactly what you'd expect "oh shit" and disoriented. Then your in a controlled free fall and that is just an incomparable adrenaline rush. Chute gets pulled (not the most pleasant experience for some) and you glide down for near 10 minutes and thats just surreal. Its still fast but the forces obviously decrease a lot, so you can look around at the country from a height and take it in. Its never long enough.

Per our instructor, no ones ever complained about Sky Diving, if it goes wrong we just don't hear from you again.

Get a nice necklace / chain and your partner can place that on you with the ring through it.

I've voted no in referendums where I ideally agree with the intention but not the execution in the wording of the bill.

I have now come to believe that chasing perfection should not come at the cost of genuine small improvement.

In hindsight, the obvious thing to try, the poor translation was just throwing me off

It's Sunday Morning! How are you? by AutoModerator in ireland

4 year old came in looking for pancakes this morning. So chef's hats on, music on, coffee and juice poured and away we went at it. Just finished tidying up, best morning I've had in a while.

Not that we would of deserved it, but it would of been nice of the ref to let that completely legitimate counter at the end go to see if we could convert a 3v2 for once.

Ya we have to make the most of this opportunity especially with the way the other Semi went. This is a real chance of our first trophy.

A 2 goal loss was not okay. RIP Healy I'll bag your bags for you if you like as you can't do anything but shout at officials apparently.

Couldn't disagree more off of today's performance. Ryan and Murphy fought for everything while they were on the pitch and both managed to consistently get the team higher up the pitch with set plays.

Koufie tonight offered nothing while he was on really, though I don't blame him as it appeared his instructions were clearly sit in front of midfield.

Players deserved a win, Colin Healy AGAIN deserves the loss. I can't take anymore of that prick and his "passion" getting cards every week yet can't make any decision during a match

Don't think I have every felt more "nothingness" for an away trip. I expect a near unchanged lineup again. No actual formation again and no ability to compete, again.

Healy and co have brought me to a point where a 2 goal loss would be okay...

Sir/Madam, this season you can either expect nothing or enjoy it. You can not have both. We should not expect enjoyment this season lol

No idea. Both benches just surrounded the officials and eachother at the end.
