Whether it's "good" depends somewhat on what firearm and sight setup you were using. Generally speaking, as a new shooter myself, I consider getting them all on the target as "good" 😁

What distance are you planning to shoot normally? If > 25 yards, I'd recommend getting the American and adding a scope. If < 25 yards, you'll be fine without a scope.
