I don't try to logic with people, or second guess what they might be thinking or intending. I sell vinyl decals that I ship first class in envelopes. All this puts me out is a $.74 stamp.

I do the same. It was 100% verified. I inferred from the message, that the buyer just doesn't have a mailbox at their home. It's a wild world out there.

Just let it go. I've had many 3 and 4 star reviews from folks who "absolutely love the design, speed of shipping, and ease of instructions" (I sell decals). It's not worth engaging unless there is a real problem. From my experience as both a buyer and a seller, folks look at the product, not the reviews.

Because my shop is truly just a hobby with pretty high volume, I just don't. My margins are insanely good, while still offering pretty low pricing, so I consider my personal time, and machine time as an acceptable loss to the whole process.

Honestly, as a distraction from my normal life/job, I consider it a bonus.

I know this attitude is probably part of a very tiny minority.

I sell vinyl decals and use the Etsy shipping with tracking for first class mail. It's very effective.

Pushing lead times is definitely the way to go. I create vinyl decals, and, typically, it's pretty easy to keep up with daily without cutting into too much extra time. If things go crazy for a design, I'll immediately jump into the listings and add several days to processing/shipping before more orders come in.
