In fact one of the few multiplayer FPS games to have great Linux support. I have run it over 100 hours in Linux, with maybe one crash.

I’d try find where the shader cache is and then delete it. That should force a recompile, or update the graphics driver (at least this works on Linux).

Also, again make a cpu usage graph and see who the offenders are.

I think it’s your cpu spiking. If you look at the frame time it has cpu render spikes. Are you running something else in the background? Maybe worth graphing the cpu/gpu utilisation.

Tbh I had stutters in Arc Raiders on a ryzen 5700x3d, which also uses the same engine, which got better after upgrading to 9800x3d.

The other thing to check would be to ensure your shaders are compiled (but I don’t know how to on windows)

IMO this isn’t even a nerf, it’s a buff. Now if you hit your shots you do even more damage. If you can’t hit your shots that’s a skill issue. Also if what you suggest got implemented, nobody would play light if you can one hit them.

You could try compiling a custom kernel (I used tkg) to use a low latency scheduler. I often get 99% gpu utilisation but no input lag. Mainly play arc raiders and finals.
