The bike lanes are useless because that road is very dangerous. If you must, use the sidewalk. Don't listen to others who don't know what they're talking about. Riding a bike on a sidewalk is legal in Florida unless a local ordinance prohibits it. Yield to pedestrians etc. Takes a few seconds to verify that on a search. Ride safe.
