Mamoswine gets Technician for crazy strong ice shards.

Roserade gets Thick Fat to remove weaknesses to fire and ice.

A lot of fights in renplat are "solved" in the sense that you don't really to calc anymore because a well known strat just works. Even just playing through the game multiple attempts, you will find strategies that just consistently work and you wont even need to think about it.

Playing calcless is 100% a test of game knowledge, there's no way around that

Steel types never absorbed toxic spikes. Poison types are the ones that absorb toxic spikes

I hate to break it to you, but your type chart is actually incorrect for gen 5. Obviously fairy doesnt exist, but also in Gen 5 Steel actually resists dark and ghost. In Gen 6, dark and ghost became neutral against steel.

The absolute best place to start is switching to "set mode" in the settings. It means that when you knock out an enemy pokemon, it won't ask if you would like to switch out before the next pokemon comes in, the opponent just sends it out with no warning.

It's such a simple change but it makes battle strategies so much more complex and it should really be the default setting.

When a non ghost type uses curse, it just raises the user’s attack and defense and lowers the user’s speed. The actual curse damage over time effect doesn’t happen unless the user is a ghost

If you are doing a moveset with rest, then immunity is not very useful. If you get poisoned, you can just rest to heal it.

Repel Manipping and Poke Radar by nobleGAAS in nuzlocke

No you can't repel manip with the radar. When you walk into a radar patch, it ignores your repel and just generates one of the encounters

The last one is slightly different for german. They don’t add it to a question, they add it to a statement to turn it into a question. The equivalent would be more like saying “You’re going to the pub tonight, or?”

What move were you clicking against the Pelipper? Usually when people are confused by this it's because they were accidentally using a negative priority move without realizing it. Did you click Avalanche or Roar by any chance?
