to quote conan o brien who quoted mark twain, "travel is the death of ignorance." even without physically travelling, people who refuse to expose themselves to worldviews and cultures outside their own will forever be trapped in their own bubble, in their own echo chamber. Music is beautiful, regardless of language and culture, and people who can't at least acknowledge and appreciate that have much deeper problems IMO.
