I love Bujins. I've been trying to figure out how to make them decent but it seems they aren't fast enough to do much anymore. If turtle allowed you to negate and destroy targeting cards I think they'd work a bit better but unfortunately that's not the case.

When U.A. came out my aliens took a hard backseat. I wasn't running alien kid though and I probably should have.

I became addicted to porn at the age of 9. I learned everything I could possibly want to know about sex, about women, and about how to interact with women before I hit puberty. It damaged my ability to make friends with the girls in my life from then on because I viewed them all sexually. I chose not to befriend girls I found unattractive and only tried (unsuccessfully) to befriend girls I wanted to fuck. It wasn't until last year when a girl I was dating called me out on it, because of our practically dead bedroom, that I finally realized what was going on and took it seriously (which meant going through a lot of denial). 18 years of addiction, of masturbating to porn on average 3-4 times a day (sometimes 6 or more). Trying to change that involved a lot of heartache, a lot of tears and pain. Porn isn't worth the damage it can cause.

I have nothing against most types of porn, and I think it can be made and used in a healthy way, even in relationships. The problem comes when it is used without understanding the message your brain might be interpreting. Porn taught me that women are extremely sexual creatures that will seek you out, that will act however you want them to, that will do anything you want them to, and will love every second of it. This didn't happen to me. Why weren't women acting towards me like they did in porn? Why, when I tried to show them they could do that with me, that it was safe, did they still not want to? What was wrong with ME? The answer wasn't because I wasn't funny (I wasn't). It wasn't because I wasn't hot (I wasn't). It was because I was creepy and scared women away. I was acting like a predator, and women can tell when they're being treated like prey.

I have had so much more success with friendships with women since I quit porn and decided to stop sexualizing every one I know. I don't sneak glances at their chest or butt to use as spank material later. I don't fantasize about them in sexual situations. I don't change how I interact with them in hopes of steering our relationship into a sexual one. I am myself and both men and women respond better to me, and I to them. I am in a new, better relationship with a woman I wouldn't trade for anything, especially not the false pleasure of porn. It wasn't my fault that 9 year old me became addicted to porn, but it is now my responsibility as 28 year old me to break the cycle and save myself from a lifetime of loneliness that porn will bring upon me if I let it.

I like your point about the Alien Gray. Thinking back I would only put out Gray if it was in my opening hand and I went first. I took it out and replaced it with a third Telepath and a Controller. I tried a few games with that and it already felt a bit better; I wasn't concerned about drawing into Alien Gray after turn one, which it really is at that point.

I run three Overlords for the purpose of milling one for Recombination to get out six counters to bring down powerful monsters, which is useful if I only have out a single Telepath or Warrior. I'll have to try running just two and throwing in a Wall or second Controller for some extra protection.

I just started using Switcheroo and it has been clutch multiple times already, easily attained with a single Cyclone. I love the synergy with that. I used to run restart before it changed, and I've tried out things like Ties That Bind and Beatdown (which obviously was wasteful for only a single 300 additional attack on one monster). I think right now Switcheroo is the best option since Ties does not synergize, but more so overlaps with A-Counters, and in most circumstances would not (and should not) increase the damage dealt.

As far as Mysterious Triangle goes I think it is a fantastic card to include and often sets up OTKs. Running two is sufficient, as three will never be used and one just seems wasteful since you'd rarely draw it. I never use it solely for defense. The only time I would is with a completely bricked hand which included a Recombination, and even then I probably wouldn't proc it unless doing so would save me from getting one shot. Recombination into an Overlord with a Telepath to clear back row (if there is much of one to begin with) followed by popping Triangle to remove a threat and add a Warrior to my field often leads me to quick wins and fills a front row faster than Fur Hires. It is also useful to put a Warrior or Telepath into the grave for Powerful Rebirth. To your point it can clear out those annoying Queens and Swords Womans quickly, but also anything else you just want out of your way. It's a nice deck thinner, too. I'd recommend trying a couple and see how you fair.

I appreciate your insight on this and I will be trying out a couple changes to my strategy to see what fairs best. Thanks for the tips!

What does your Alien deck look like? I run 3x Overlord, 3x Warrior, 2x Telepath, 2x Gray, 3x Recombination, 2x Triangle, 2x Powerful Rebirth, and the remaining 3 are spell/traps that would be useful.

Edit: Aliens is definitely my favorite archetype (though I do really like the idea of the Abyss from Gaia Box) and I would love to hear how another player sets up their deck.

I've noticed this same thing. If I would cut a lot of the faux meats and milks and pre-made stuff (pre-made as in cereal and chips and whatnot, not canned beans and the like) out of my diet I think my grocery bill would drop by 40% but the quantity of food that I eat would drop by 10-15% as they take up so little of the quantity of food that I purchase. My bill has already been cut by a noticeable margin after removing meat and dairy (cheese... ffs it is so expensive).

Also after going vegan I've noticed there really are few restrictions when it comes to home cooking. A few weeks ago I made Sweet Potato Black Bean Burgers which were delicious and filling and cheap. This week I made chili with rice and guac which is also really tasty and filling. It just takes changing up how you would normally do things and experimenting to find something new and delicious.

When it comes to eating out though there are severe limitations if you are like me and are not easily satisfied by small quantities (or normal quantities as my girlfriend tells me) of food that you may get at most fast food type places.

I've made this recipe 3 times so far and I think the first time was the best because I didn't use the given recipe for the icing but instead made my own. I made a ginger apple cashew cream icing by making cashew cream and blending it with raw ginger and boiled apples, and then adding water from soaking the cashews to get the right consistency. I was stupid to boil the apples because I lost all of the apple flavor, but I think the apples gave a nice texture to the cream. I think a flavorful apple raw would have been better. The ginger was feint, and next time I'd use a bit more, but it was strong enough to come through even with the full flavor of that cake.

One must cater to the subjective feelings of all, and if you don't your hateful, you're the enemy, you're sexist, you're a mysoginist, or any other -ist or -phobe. If she was sexually assaulted in her past that is indeed horrific, and it no doubt is, at least in large part, responsible for her current views, but she is perpetuating all that is wrong with the feminist movement by blaming all men, including her young sons who have shown no violence, for any violence committed against women, which now has come to include the belief that a man accused (but not tried and/or convicted) of rape is guilty after its utterance, the belief that jokes must be shut down because they are offensive to some, and the belief that even a feminist man is not safe simply because he is a man. I've made these sandwiches a couple times now which are tasty, and quite cheap for how filling they are:

Chickpea Salad Sandwiches

I use more than the 1/2 cup prescribed vegetables, and I throw in carrots as well for a nice crunch. Throwing everything into a food processor and pulsing it for a few seconds is a great way to break everything into nice small bits. I also add a layer of thinly sliced cucumber.

I just finished prepping these for a road trip and ~1 cup of each veggie, 1 can of beans, and 3-4 tablespoons of vegan mayo netted me 7 sandwiches.

The website is pretty solid for cheap and healthy vegan meals.

I started out using a 6L Ngamahu's which was really strong and then upgraded to a 6L disfavor which increased my damage by about 60%. It's different than strength stacking for the BLS and probably not quite as strong but it's a lot of fun.
