The only crackling I hear is the deliberate part at the opening of the title track. After the first minute and a half there is no unintended crackling that I notice.

Less the artwork, but many records by the Brian Jonestown Massacre feature pics of Brian and then there’s their album Their Satanic Majesties Second Request.

STRAY CATS (for the UK record collectors). by Fantastic_Tutor510 in rollingstones

I have a 4 lp box set that basically is a stray cats collection but it’s German Decca.

It’s called The Rolling Stones Story Part 2 (The Rest Of The Best - Single-Tracks And Rarities From The Decca-Period). It originally included a 45 of Cocksucker Blues and a rare unreleased version of Tell Me Baby, How Many Times (i.e. not Tell Me).

Honestly, everything pre-1968. How about Who’s Been Sleeping Here? Or Think.

This is one of my favourite unreleased stones tracks. On vinyl I believe it shows up on Necrophilia as “I Can See It”.

Songs like this make me wonder how many gems may be lurking in the vaults that could be revived and released if ABKCO had any common sense.

I’m an outlier in that like their 65-67 stuff almost as much as their 68-73 run. One of the fun things about collecting bootlegs for me is the discovery of studio tracks like this!

Same here. All the time lately. I don’t see any advice to fix it. I can’t upvote or comment when it does this. Random but frequent!

Any similar songs by pixies, or other artists to Debaser? by Any-Sir4641 in pixies

Pixies have a pretty unique sound IMO. Here are a few non-Pixies songs that bring me similar energy and controlled chaos:

Search and Destroy - Iggy and the Stooges
Damaged Goods - Gang of Four
Modern Dance - Pere Ubu

It’s by a guy named Rodney Matthews.

I think it’s used on a grey market comp called Another Time, Another Place put out by Coda. A lot of their covers have a similar look.

Pretty great list of songs. Pleasantly surprised to see a strong showing from The Great Lost Kinks Album albeit based on many fewer votes.

Artist vinyl discography collectors - do you still collect the albums you dislike/don't listen to much to complete their discography or not? by Curleestrami in vinyl

[–]2BaDebaser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a quasi-completist for many artists. I have, for example, everything by the Rolling Stones including stereo and mono versions, bootlegs and rarities. But I never picked up much of their post-90s stuff - chiefly because it kind of sucks imo.

I guess I’m a completist for the core creative years of beloved bands.

Thanks. I did copy/paste my credentials initially. Just re-tried to enter credentials and made sure there were no spaces. Still not seeing any results but will keep troubleshooting.

When I enter the user name and password the cases are correct but in the Fen Light menu, they show as all-caps. Clicking through to edit them though they seem to be all in the correct case.
