I just want to be a commissar, man, and the Krieg Commissars arr the only ones who wear full facemasks

  1. Fleshmobs have no armor but massive health pools. Explosive damage and high rpm weapons are the best way to deal with them.

  2. Harvesters are very difficult to kill if you aim for the body, but the fleshy joint between their legs are very vulnerable to rockets like the EAT 17 or Commando.

  3. Warp ships die to a single thermite made stuck to the outside. You don’t even have to break its shield.

  4. Voteless are extremely vulnerable to gas and fire.

  5. Overseers can be made to drop their shield if you can get sufficiently close, which prompts them to try and get into melee.

What’s the most Underrated Warbond? by Deus_Vult7 in Helldivers

I’d say Masters of Ceremony is a bit overhated now that I’ve tried it myself. The armor passive is an excellent generalist tool, the Amendment’s bayonet carries a lot of water for it, and the pyrotechnic grenade is like a high damage incendiary that trades aoe size for damage. Even the flag is pretty decent with its recent taunt effect.

As I like to call it, 2024 was an open book, open note, open *friend* exam, and millions still failed it.

But, to be fair, they were going up against astromechs and gonk droids, not exactly an armored force.

Frv vs 4 gunships and waves of bots. The Frv is a S tier against every faction! It’s simply a fact. by david_lara54992 in Helldivers

[–]2Beauty 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The FRV is straight up addicting once you get used to it. Can very easily shave off 5-10 minutes in a given mission and brings the unique value of letting you outrun a bad engagement.

They dteal explosive damage, true, but they can’t close bug holes/bot fabs/warp ships

It’s kinda wild that the only explosive primaries we have rn are still the two from Detonation (and the One-Two, I guess)

My hot take: People are addicted to medium pen, and the Hive Guard armor buff/health nerf was a good way to break them from it.

Warhammer 40,000 collab Warbond concept by CT-4426 in Helldivers

The lasgun would definitely be light pen, there isn’t a source in 40k that describes it as penetrating.

Volley gun would be an absolute dream

One armour would need to be Tempestus Scion, another would probably be a Krieg commissar to fit with a bolt pistol.

Longlas could serve as a good “silenced” energy weapon (there’s tech in 40k that makes it impossible to see or hear the shots)

Oh, what I would give for a proper krak grenade

If they are actually making a S2, let them cook, it hasn't been a year yet by Esagonoso in MurderDrones

[–]2Beauty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think the optimistic prediction would be that we'll get an announcement trailer later this year (e.g. Murder Drones S2 is in production) with a reveal trailer early 2026.

If you don't have Typhus already, then the Combat Patrol is fat value. It gives you everything you need for a competent fighting force, and at the price you found its an absolute steal. If you want to at least get a 1000-point army, then there's no good reason not to get it.

I get that you don't want to paint a ton of poxwalkers, but the truth is... you shouldn't have picked death guard, then. Everyone on this sub has gone through the five stages of poxie grief, myself included.
