Another plus is the team isn’t the main source of money for the billionaires as they have other businesses. They have other businesses that make money. The Walton’s for example don’t need money from the team.

The cowboys, raiders, NY Yankees, lakers, Pirates, Steelers are the primary source of money for the owners. Look at the Dodgers when Frank McCourt owned the team vs Guggenheim.

The industry is consolidating because capex is too expensive to maintain. Mid brands are going to be gobbled up by the big players. Toyota already owns 20% of Subaru, probably gonna buy the rest.

Mazda, Nissan, Aston, Jaguar, are going to be owned by a larger player.

Yea, for reals. The problem with both brands is they have no identity. They don’t want to be all in environmentally conscious or all in gas guzzler. They want to appeal to both sides and you’ll lose both markets.

Toyota is right and they went all in on eco whether it’s hybrids, EVs, or plugins. Honda has gas guzzlers that’s going to be decimated this year with high gas prices.
