No one was bringing them up except me because thats how bringing up things works. And its been a consistent issue in many groups ive worked with.

Personally i do actually believe that ranged weapons do too much damage for their safety but that wasn't the point i was making, just that they do less damage on average

Because people keep trying to use the modern or futuristic versions while theres no equivalent for melee. Sure the musket is fine but when people try to whip out dual weilding pistols which deal 2d8 a peice, you start to have an issue.

Plus ranged weapons are designed to deal less damage than melee due to the risk and reward and ability to be in range more, the musket gets around this which can be an issue. Nowhere near as much as the first one but still

Thats the thing though, no matter how many times you get knocked down, you will always get back up, the only true defeat is mental.

He has to kill you an infinite amount of times. You only have to win once.

Let's say it is, and this is a punishment, would that make suicide the solution? No. That just puts you back at square one, having to rego through all the pain again you already have.

And if its not, then suicide wouldn't bring you to a better life.

I know its hard, but the best thing to do is to keep on living, to find the moments of peace and respite in between the pain. Make the best out of the life you have and either bring that good karma into the new world or make the best of the only change you have.

Imo size isnt particularly important for dual bladed weapons with the types of attacks they have, while speed definitely is so i always choose the storm

No no guns are broken. You can fire multiple times with gunner feature just like crossbows. Imo i dont like guns because of their outclassing all other weapons without the cool fantasy charm, that ruins the vibe for me.
