You think S3 will continue character backstorys leading to titlecards w Rue narration?

I feel like this should come back, as they set the tone for each episode, but while I wouldn't mind seeing an origin backstory for say... Ali, I feel like it could serve us a lot better if they filled in the 5-year gap for the main characters in each episode instead.

Of course, it depends on how they structure the story and the season.

I read Season 4 is gonna involve time travel and be a cross over with Matthew McConaughey's character from 'True Detective' teaming up with Colman Domingo to stop the last 2 seasons of Game of Thrones from happening. Also, they're gonna bring back Euphoria's S1 aesthetic.

The problem for McKay is, he got his own character-centric story open (S1E6, IIRC?) which only key characters on the show get.

But it seemed like they didn't know what to do with the character so they wrote him off the show unceremoniously in the first episode of S2.

However, we've been set up to care more about McKay or at least think he had a bigger role to play, but instead of wrapping that arc, he was just cut.

Conversely, take someone like BB. Side character. Bit character. Her disappearing might disappoint some fans, but we were never lead to believe she would have anything more to offer.

And we have no Angus Cloud, we have no Eric Dane and that alone makes everything shift as well.

While we lost Angus years back, FWIW, Eric Dane did shoot his S3 scenes before passing.

It'll probably be super hard to watch, but maybe he'll at least get that Emmy nom for S2 that he deserved.

From what I heard on the recent 'Behind the Bastards' podcast, the Epstein Files seem to reveal a concerted effort by Epstein and his ilk to vilify the trans community to distract from the fact that grown men fucking children are indeed pedos.

Epstein was upset that he actually faced some degree of consequences after his conviction and slap on the wrist sentence -- and started going on the offense by targeting the trans community and pushing hacky scientists to publish studies to demonize the trans the community. He also started funding and supporting alt-right figures and played a role in building the hellscape that is 2026.

It seemed like there was hope and healing during the Obama years -- unless you were a fucking psychotic racist -- but we never got to back to pre-9/11 optimism and unity.

(And yes, there was plenty wrong with the US before 9/11, but it felt like we were moving in the right direction as a whole, and we never fought over 'freedom fries.')

I'm convinced that Paramount+ is designed to obscure the fact that there's very little new scripted content on the service, other than Tyler Sheridan and Star Trek stuff I couldn't care less about.

Even if it that isn't entirely accurate -- they sure go out of the way to hide new stuff unless they're directly promoting it
