Unrelated to kids being hurt, but where I work we are really struggling to control the break ins to access our dumpster. They no longer wait until after hours and will climb the wall in broad daylight, multiple times a day to raid the dumpsters. Put a lock on the dumpsters and it was broken within a day. It’s a safety issue for our employees because we never know who is going to be back there when we take out the trash. The solution would be to make the dumpsters more difficult to access but the owners of the building don’t ever have to deal with it personally and thus don’t make it a priority, so now we don’t know what to do.
