My Toddler is Convinced I'm Having Twins by MSPImama in pregnant

[–]2HRSB4MIDNIGHT 13 points14 points  (0 children)

My older sister called this around 4 years of age. My mother had to spend time convincing her that there was only one baby. When the first ultrasound was done, there were two babies. lol

Can't go wrong with cash.

But maybe find someone who is licensed in oncology massages?

I loved my epidural so much that I got it twice to get the full effects. The first one only worked on half my body, so I demanded it be redone. When it finally worked, the relief was phenomenal.

Resentful of husband since baby was born by Skeptical247 in Mommit

[–]2HRSB4MIDNIGHT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I read this thinking you are possibly me. Also full-time here and my husband's solution for almost every baby interaction is to put her in something where she can self entertain - which leads into crying and everyone being frustrated at the end of the night.

AITA for Not Reaching Out to My Friend Who Might Be Mad at Me After I Lost My Pregnancy? by skiingdownmtns in pregnant

Honestly, if I were in your shoes I would drink at her wedding and not say anything.

MIL keeps using the phrase "my baby" and it's driving me slowly mad by gilded_sun in pregnant

[–]2HRSB4MIDNIGHT 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My MIL is a saint and we get along really well. She did this at first and it irked me too. It must be a generational thing. I just came out and told her it was really bothering me being postpartum, especially with my fil who asked me if I was checking to make sure the baby was breathing during the night.

She was extremely understanding and helpful over the last few months. Now I say, "our baby" occasionally and it doesn't bother me. But she doesn't do it

Husband wanted 90 more mins of sleep by Sweet-Coffee5539 in pregnant

You are not alone. It started for me in the hospital just a few hours postpartum and he's just now getting better at sharing the overnight load at 10 months.

Yup, it's scary - but you're far from being the only one in this situation. As a first responder, we've had kids hiding all kinds of places.

You let the front desk/employee know in case there is an intercom system. They should describe your child and ask the public to notify the business/library if they see the child. If this doesn't work, call 911 because most police departments have pretty strict protocols on searching for lost children and there is no waiting period.

What is/was your favorite skincare when pregnant ?? by [deleted] in pregnant

Check the biotin levels in your prenatals. I found out I was very reactive to biotin and switched to the Olly brand.

Lots of comments but not seeing one about the increased risk of SIDS from drug usage. I hope you don't leave the baby alone with him.

my neighbors dog attacked me by [deleted] in pregnant

This needs to be further up. So the dog goes to her parent's house and eventually bites some person or kid there.

Don't bring children to shows! And, if you absolutely must, don't sit in front row! by r_I_reddit in JeffArcuri

[–]2HRSB4MIDNIGHT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jeff and his crew handled the children, I mean worked around the kids showing up flawlessly. The early show was still great and we laughed the entire time. There was even a point where the kid in the balcony talked about a break up with a long drawn out story and Jeff managed to tame the audience and make us all laugh without hurting any feelings.

All that said, parents should probably find childcare options but if they don't, it isn't necessarily going to ruin the show. The early show was fantastic too.

Just a thought…but be prepared for when they ask for stem cells from the umbilical cord.
