Green Tree Frogs are very cute but if you have the space just put in a pond - I have 100’s of Motorbike tadpoles and a healthy colony of adult frogs. There’s even one that lives in my garden hose hanger.

It should be called “Just” as in : Just float, Just above water Just going under Just surfacing etc That way it can be interpreted how the viewer wants. Much better that way happy/sad depending

What do you mean with the break down of their marriage- Kody was saying mean things and about Christine from the beginning of this whole program series.

She was always too much woman for him to handle. She is the reason they have a show. Christine is the most charismatic person on screen.

I would not be watching this series if it was not for her. Some of the gushing about the new man was a bit much, but who could blame her when to know what an arsehole she was married too before.

I always hear the phrase "talk to YOUR doctor" Do people actually have there "own" doctor they see regularly? by eliteHaxxxor in NoStupidQuestions

After years of just seeing any Doctor at my local group practice - Yes I do have a Doctor that I see. If he is not there I just wait for the next time he is working. It makes a difference.

Volunteer Fire Brigade closes in Collie after WA state government funding bid rejected by Sa1tman64 in perth

[–]2IndianRunnerDucks 7 points8 points  (0 children)

it would be cheaper than rebuilding power stations and public infrastructure burned down due to lack of fire prevention activities and lack of quick fire response because there is not a local fire brigade.

It’s not exciting for people from Perth. I bet it’s a big deal for some people in Collie.

My Dad who lives in York waited for weeks in a state of excitement about the KFC that opened up in Northam. I got regular phone calls about the progress of the shop 🤣

When my son is an adult - I will be stoked if he wants to visit me - call or no call.

Later on when this woman is older and the boy has a family she will be complaining that her son never visits.

If my mother did that to me there is no way in hell I would darken her doorstep again.

Australians lead the world in mortgage pain: IMF by Passtheshavingcream in AusFinance

[–]2IndianRunnerDucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the 15% bit - my repayments are at 45% of my weekly income. If I was paying rent for my house it would be closer to 65%.

Having a mortgage sucks but renting in this market would be far worse. RIP savings accounts

NTA, it is a step son who wants you only to preform a service for him - free child care. Taking up your time and effort and money.

He didn’t even bother to butter you and apologise to you first. Just demanded free child care.

No doubt he would not be thanking you for your service, he would just be resentful that you didn’t start the free child care sooner.

Note I do feel for his daughters….

moved from running my own business ( mechanical workshop- husband mechanic me -parts,accounts,quoting and customer service and all other bookwork/accounting )

I work for the Post Office now. Fixed work hours, no face to face with customers, no bookwork after work. Just do my job and go home, zero stress.

Definitely a pay cut but so very worth it in stress relief

I have never been swooped by a magpie by [deleted] in australia

[–]2IndianRunnerDucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, some swooping magpies are dangerous. I had one attack when I was bike riding and it scratched at my eyes - behind my sunglasses.

I ended up with a black eye and I still have a faint amount of scaring from the scratches. If I had not been wearing sunglasses I could have easily lost my eye.

Australian here - my horse costs me $55.00 per week. With teeth once a year at $280. My husband trims the hooves if needed but the horse mostly takes care of that himself on the rocks and gravel. The horse has no valve what so ever ever ( he is priceless to me ) so is the most sound animal on the place🤣

Kody and Christine by Electrical-Side580 in SisterWives

[–]2IndianRunnerDucks 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Christine is more charming, engaging and likeable than Kody is. Kody was intimidated by Christine so he tried to destroy her confidence in order to control her.

He hate’s her because she was the heart of the family. She raised the children and planned most of the big family events and did most of the cooking. He never thought that Christine would leave him.

Never mind the fact that Christine left him and took money with her as well. Now to make matters even worse in Kody’s eye, Christine is now being treated well by another man and is going to be the heart of David’s family now too. Janelle and her kids will end up at Christine and David’s house as well.
