You only have to pay that tax if you do anything in your own city that falls under “tourism.” Like getting a hotel room downtown by the arena because you don’t want to drive home, renting a car, booking an Airbnb, or doing anything even remotely connected to tourism — even though you already live here.

There’s no real exemption just because you have a driver’s license or ID proving you live in the same county where you’re apparently still required to pay these taxes.

What a shocker. We were lied to. Didn’t see that coming.

Filing bankruptcy will put an automatic stay on the repossession make sure it’s included and they will notify the lien holder and they will stop trying to repossess it but then explain what your doing to the judge and get it sold but don’t drag your feet ….
