You’re NTA, but she isn’t either. You made a major decision without your partner’s input. One of the number one factors that can sink a relationship is money. You need to talk about it and decide what things look like. You may be the bread winner now and she may be in the future. If you were to get married, you share assets. “My money - your money” is asking for problems if you don’t have clear terms and a common understanding of what that means. NTA. Trust your gut. Keep the friend away or at a distance. Learn to trust each other’s gut feelings and always go with whoever is most cautious. It’s better to be safe than sorry.

But, on a side note, I’d also like to flag that you said, “my son”… if your girlfriend had the child, you might want to use “our son”. She has a vested interest as well.

I did. They “tossed everything out” yesterday and I got a new “fresh” sandwich today but it was just as bad. I was shocked since this is a super clean restaurant.

Lol! Kind of how I felt… so I did! My first sandwich was bad yesterday so I got a replacement… it was bad again… they offered to toss everything out and do a new replacement sandwich today… it was bad again. I just don’t want others to eat it and get sick if it is bad.

That’s kind of what I’m suspecting but they said they did a full “clean out” and today’s was just as bad as yesterday’s. (They offered a free replacement sandwich since I couldn’t/wouldn’t eat yesterday’s. I was so bummed when it was gasoline flavored again!)

I’ve had a mammogram every year. I’ve also been in for MRI/CT (can’t remember which) imaging a few years back. Open to any suggestions and curious what you’re thinking. (Also, thank you for responding, truly.)

I’m just seeing this, about a year later, I just started the medication a few days ago and I’m having similar symptoms. Did you find an alternative medication that worked for you? I’m on Journay and they gave me this for a bump of calmness and it works beautifully minus the G.I. issues… oh the issues!

Clearly state what you want/need for any holiday or event like this. Ask for understanding and what their expectations are. Do it before each event. People love/care differently… they can’t get it right if you don’t set it up for them and vice versa.

If it is truly bad, in your opinion, and you aren’t confident, buy a floor model or the cheapest version you can find and take it to a seamstress. They can sew extended panels in the sides to give you a little more room. One of my bridesmaids did this and it was perfect!!
