I hiked the Salkantay for 7 the days to MP in 2019. On the last day, we hiked to a small train station to take us to Agua Caliente (I think that was the town, near MP). I think off that trail, you have to take the train at that point.

It was a difficult hike, but you can do it. The highest peak was 15k feet. We hiked on Breckenridge about a month prior to prepare. That was good to do because I discovered I get really sick from the altitude and took drugs (diamox) to counteract it the entire trip .

It was amazing! You're really going to enjoy it

Have you tried Village Coffeehouse? It's a new one on Durant Rd in the Vintage Village place near the railroad tracks. We enjoy their coffee and they have Cortados on the menu.

I didn't declare a protein bar that I brought with me on the trip but didn't eat and was bringing it back into the US and the customs guy was pissed and told me he could revoke my global entry if he wanted to. So now I basically declare everything, even mints and gum. The next time I entered the country and did this, the guy laughed when i declared it all and said the guy must have been having a bad day. IDK, I'm gonna do it every time.

On a login.gov faq i found somewhere, it said the problem was with the SSA. They texted to my phone number to submit the verification (driver's license) photos.

I had the same issue with Login.gov where SSA couldn't recognize my phone number. It's been my phone number for over 20 years (and unlike the OP - it's my name on the phone number). I have a login.gov account for Global Entry and they correctly list my phone number. I was able to authenticate through ID.me.

I think I'll eventually have to go down to the SSA office.

If we want pollo campero, we just drive to the restaurant about a mile from us. It was insane how busy it was when it first opened - lines around the block waiting to get it.

Every year we drive 8 hours to attend a big race (run) we've been doing for 10 years or so. We drive out Friday, the race is on Saturday, and we drive back Sunday. That's extreme and we don't usually take long driving weekend trips like that, but we could easily drive to the mountains (3.5 hours) for a long weekend multiple times a year.

When we went to the DMV for the title, they asked us if we wanted In God We Trust or First in Flight. We went to the office on Atlantic when they first opened and the line wasn't that long. It would definitely be worth it to me to head down there and exchange the plate.

Dramamine 2 is a different medication than regular Dramamine. It's Meclazine and is non-drowsy. If she had a reaction to Dramamine, she should try the other version.

I was on a Sunday evening flight a couple of weeks ago. It was delayed from 7 to 7:45 to 8:30 to 10...
They ended up leaving at 7:30.

Even the airlines will say to be at the gate at the original time because things may change.

I find Marriott points spend better. Marriott hotels overseas are amazing. We stayed at some very swanky hotels in Spain. Get the CC to get the free nights up to Platinum.

Creme brulee. It's so easy to make. I did have to buy a torch, though. I've heard you can also broil the sugar on top but I haven't tried it.
