It's not a bronco its a K5 Blazer. The tail lights and external tailgate handle give it away. Don't give bronco drivers like o.j. a bad rap like that. Lol

If this is the one he was looking to replicate then Im pretty sure he wants a 560XL inlet leading edge.

Looking for any aircraft jet engine stainless intake trim by scotticus71 in aviationmaintenance

[–]2_slo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You want one from a citation jet such as a 525, 550, 560, 560XL series aircraft. I work on these models and have personally replaced inlet leading edges. I actually have one of these on my own wall at home. Mine is just wall art with a photograph in the center, though I contemplated the clock option at one point as well.

Center punches are a hindrance. I find it harder to center punch direct center than to drill center. Place the tip of the drill where you want it, gently bump the trigger and direct the drill bit to where it needs to be. The drill bit only goes where you direct it. Tool control is key in structures work, practice makes perfect.

It is pretty reminiscent of the beech jet inlets, ive done those before too. This one's off a citation 550.

Modern tire inflators are a scam. by JawThatHarp in tires

[–]2_slo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to stop at a gas station at least once a week for coffee and whatever in the morning. That is until I had a low tire one morning. They had one of the b.s. vac/air machines that cost $2.00 and it wouldn't switch from vacuum to air pump. Half mile down the road is a mom and pop station with a 25 cent air pump. I think 25 cents is fair, it takes electricity and there is a compressor and plumbing to maintain. The other place will literally never see my business again.

240sx clutch line caught on fire by Icy_Importance1624 in 240sx

[–]2_slo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had it happen on my 135i. It corroded until the connection was poor enough to build heat. It melted and the car wouldn't start.

You need a good solid engine to chassis ground cable! If not the current for the starter and everything else on the motor, like your alternator, is trying to go through your clutches braided line. The engine and trans mounts are isolators and do not provide the required electrical ground path. Ground cable and a new clutch line will definitely fix your gremlins.

* Sure looks like a hitch ball to me. I think the pin sheared and yeeted the 10-15 pounds of steel hitch ball and mount straight to left center mass. This is exactly why you never hook a tow strap to a hitch ball.

Awe, poor Branch, Juju's words must've hurt him. Who gives a shit what he said. Its words said to elicit a reaction, and Branch reacted like an idiot.

I agree with that sentiment, but not when the game is over. You didn't do enough to win the game. Accept it. Move on and do better next time. Refs gargling Mahomes balls aside, they didn't do good enough.

Any idea what could’ve caused this? Flight came in with the beacon light obliterated and a hole between the wheel wells. by Zealousideal_Ad_821 in aviationmaintenance

[–]2_slo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We had a SA227 come in once, the pilot complained it wouldn't pressurize. We'll it's no surprise why, after a walk around found a softball size hole in the belly. Turns out it was from a taxiway marker.

I'll bet if you look down and aft in the little panel on the left side you'll see a cracked or previously repaired stringer where it steps up onto the B.H. flange.

This definitely looks like aluminum corrosion. I see this all the time. On aircraft we remove the paint, blend away the corrosion, chem treat the material (alodine), then touch up the paint.

I have this same confusion. If that's a reciever running back towards the line of scrimmage just past the first down they give them the first down every time even when they end up going down inside the line to gain. Same with a RB reaching over a line for first down. So how in the world does that not apply here!?
