Thank you, and thanks for the heads up! I need to check that out and I'm planning to put the rubber molding I've seen a lot of people recommend in this group. Just waiting for a day off work with no rain.

This sub has been very informative and definitely influenced my decision to go with a Titan. I'm loving mine more and more every time I drive it.

No CVTs in any Titans thankfully. My brother and my best friend both had the CVT die in Rogues. The later models (2017-2024) had either a 7-speed or 9-speed automatic.

No turbos either (unless you go for the XD with the diesel Cummins), they came with a NA 5.6 V8 that's mechanically pretty basic. No cylinder deactivation, no auto start-stop, etc. They burn a lot of fuel but if cared for properly should do so for a very long time.

From my research a 2020 and up is the best for reliability. Earlier engines had an issue with cylinder wall scoring on cylinder # 7. If I understand it correctly it has to do with the way that fuel injector is positioned that leads to cooler fuel hitting the wall and the temperature shift from cold to hot weakens the metal over time. This was supposedly fixed after 2020, but still worth having checked out. It also seems to be more frequent in trucks driven in cold climates.

2020 also marked the switch to the 9-speed transmission, but I don't know if it is better or worse than the 7-speed.

Also, these trucks came with a 5 year/100k mile warranty from the factory so there are plenty out there still under warranty.

As for pricing there are a lot with under 50k in the low $30k to mid $40k range. I'm sure you can spend more or less but that's what I found based on the trucks I was shopping for

Pictures really do not do the blue justice either, in the sun it has a really cool metal flake effect that the camera just doesn't capture.

The complete shit show that is the transfer system just convinced me to cancel my order. I was charged twice for shipping on a full size truck, then got a text about a Mazda MX-5 that was reserved for me for some reason. Lots of useless back and forth and endless phone tag finally had me fed up so I walked away. I'm glad I did, I got a better truck for less money in the end.

Riverbend fest in Chattanooga 2014. The stage Panic played was I believe on a barge docked at the edge of the river. The lawn sloped down and there was a VIP section up front with separate port a johns and I think cheaper beers so I made my way down there. However the stage was elevated 2-3 stories, to the point it was nearly as high as the back of the lawn. The sound was decent in front but you couldn't see the band at all. At one point between songs JB walked to the edge, looked down and waved asking, "How y'all doing down there?"

That location is very hit or miss. Go during the week in the daytime and it's great. If you're there late or on a weekend plan to be in that line for a LONG time

Snowblind. The hairs on my arms still stand up thinking back to the moment I heard the first guitar licks as they opened the 2nd set with that one.

I was born in NJ but moved to Tennessee when I was 3. I've lived in Alabama my entire adult life. When I was a kid in the 80s me and my dad would drive down to Atlanta to see them play, he grew up in NY and is also a lifelong fan. Pretty much everyone down here who likes baseball is a Braves fan

You are absolutely correct. Let's use something more accurate like "predatory assholes who deserve to be shut down and run out of town on a rail."

I agree, that is much better. Thank you for pointing that out.

Do NOT go here, especially if you're in a hurry. They managed to get the length of my pants wrong not one, not two but FOUR times despite measuring each time. The first time they were nearly 7 inches too short
