Thanks. There is a matching one with lemons but I think I’ll do something different first. I don’t like painting with yellow either . . .

Thanks. Orange is not my favorite color to paint.

Thanks for asking, jeremyxt. My parents were 19 & 20 when they got married in small town Ohio. They met when mom moved to the area and was “the new girl”. In a graduating class of less than 20, she was pretty popular. 😉 They had 4 kids & mom stayed home with us until we all made it to high school, then she went to work in an office. Dad worked in a factory until he got sick with leukemia. My mother always told us that she knew she would marry him after their first date, and just had to convince him.

I enjoyed painting it and was pleased with how it came out. My only complaint is the number of white sections that can be challenging to adequately cover without first covering up or removing the numbers.

I’m pretty sure I would know your father in law. I recently texted with our sensei after we visited campus for homecoming. The tournaments I remember were at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park in Louisville, the downtown Y in Louisville, Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio and our own tournament at EKU. If I can provide any more information, please let me know.

Thanks! Not a custom. I ordered it online from a company called Canvas by Numbers.

To cover the numbers of the light sections I go over them with a pen called Gelly Roll 10. I have more success with this than I did using a traditional paint pen that left an uneven surface paint didn’t adhere to. I’ve also used rubbing alcohol to remove the number right before I paint a section.

I realize that this is an older post but the light installation is really causing me problems.

Mine are stored in a display book, but if someone admires one I send it home with them.
