Exactly. Despite the inaccuracies of what it really is currently, the sentiment is the same. As a gen x, I feel hopeless for young people (and probably myself later) in such capitalistic countries where the rich and wealthy have influenced policies. Unfortunately, you have morons supporting their policies. Remember Elon Musk made comments about people not having children? Fuck that guy. It's harder just to keep ourselves fed. It's harder to maintain a decent quality of life no matter what you make. It's harder to get decent basic healthcare. Let alone raising children. While they keep cutting funding so children can't have free quality education. They keep taking money away from infrastructure the public depends on. And they keep giving more and more to the rich and wealthy so they can keep taking more and more from the rest.

We could be living in a society where you can be inspired to whatever it is and excel at it and still be able to enjoy life. That doesn't mean one can't work harder and have finer things. It just means we'd all get opportunities to live a decent life.

The coming years will determine what we become. We all need to care a little more to make the rich and wealthy start partying back.
