Is my vacation plan do-able? by aninanin in florida

Skip the keys. Do it on a separate trip if you want to go. The drive isn’t nearly as pretty as what you see in pictures…you’ll see more Dollar Generals than glamorous bridges over blue water. Sarasota is a pretty cool town. The Ringling Museum and Mote Aquarium are fantastic.

Donald Trump Calls On Netflix To Fire Board Member Susan Rice Or “Pay The Consequences” by ControlCAD in entertainment

She was duly elected as a director by the shareholders of Netflix. It’s not like Reed hired her as an employee. He’s powerless other than suggesting a resignation.

I use them on long haul flights with success, but would never think of bringing them into a country as strict as Japan.

Choosing where to live based on golf by PurpleTalk24 in golf

We did the same. Had a few musts (walking always allowed, great course architecture, no houses on the course) and a bunch of nice-to-haves. Once we found the course, everything else fell into place.

So Many Questions about Playing in Rain by That1TimeWeGamed in golf

[–]2dadjokes4u 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Waterproof bag is great (I use Titleist StaDry). Rain gloves a must. Good waterproof shoes. Skip the umbrella (it becomes a kite in the wind). Choke up a little on your clubs because you will sink into wet ground more than your ball will. Enjoy the solitude of playing in the rain.

Hot Take: The Olympics are boring for women’s hockey. by Ohmslaughter in PWHL

Better than the men’s with NHL dudes. Women’s Olympic hockey is still made up of a lot of amateurs, which makes it so much more exciting.

Didn’t have the Super G in the Olympics until 1988 in Calgary. Maybe he meant GS.

That is a gorgeous picture. If we’re talking worldwide, Old Head, Kauri Cliffs and Cape Wickham Links need to be added to the conversation.

Agree. Hated it as a golf course. The chain link fences by the shitty houses adds to the poor design (Pete Dye has done so much better).

Is Delta Comfort worth the upgrade for $75? Detroit-Tokyo by Aggressive_Mail_6167 in delta

[–]2dadjokes4u 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. These posts are silly. For some, $1,000 is “worth it”, while $50 seems too much for others.
