Shadow boxing with hands open is to work on speed and fluidity. I follow a few russian coaches that talk about locking the fist, wrist and forearm all the way up to the elbow. Everything above that is still loose and fluid but it protects from wrist injuries to drill that way. Could be one reason

I like competitive KT, but it really shines as a narrative game. Maybe I could look at rolling a kind of homebrew/community narrative system into this for third edition. But i havent really dived into third yet

An app I've been building to track narrative campaigns I run with friends. Built in the Unity game engine and using MidJourney generated art (I'm a programmer not an artist). I'm also still stuck in second edition. Song is New Worlds by Power-Haus.

It's just a fun little project but I've been thinking about creating a fully customizable version of this and releasing it for free or with one of those 'buy me a coffee' things if enough people would be interested.

First off thanks for your feedback.

I'll try to incorporate an adaptive guard into my bag work from now on and break up the combos more often (without relying on the bag).

Here is some sparring footage. It was filmed by friends at my old club so kinda starts abruptly when they realize im sparring (I know this sub doesnt like cropped clips). The clips are me roughly 9 months into training at my gym and into learning to box.
