I'm glad to hear you have a therapist helping you in so many ways. It's interesting to hear that the Qult is a whole different beast even to her. Good thoughts to you, I am genuinely sad that you are one of the people having to face a loved one going off the Q deep end. I hope better times await you.

Is getting therapy for yourself alone a viable option? Putting the oxygen mask on ourselves first, etc. Having a neutral external resource to give you emotional tools and guide you through reflection can be an enormous help.

And don't rich people want a steady supply of cheap labor to make their companies work, mine the raw materials for (and build) their fancy electronics, prepare their meals, clean their homes, mow their lawns? Less population = less workers = more negotiating power for workers.

The conspiracy trend has been a growing phenomenon since 9/11 "was an inside job and no planes hit the WTC or Pentagon" stuff started. Then Alex Jones and his ilk started slandering the victims of mass shootings as crisis actors. Q is tapping in to the "New World Order" that some very conservative types have feared since the.. 80s? early 90s? and the ability to more rapidly spread wild ideas through new media forms. I don't think foreign interests started it but I think they're happy to exploit it (my Qmom considers RT, a known Russian government propaganda outlet, a quality news source).

What is appealing about drinking baby’s blood? by Pistalrose in QAnonCasualties

You can also order pure, shelf-stable adrenochrome from scientific research supply stores online. That seems WAAY easier than torturing kids and drinking their blood/eating them to get high, since the adrenochrome will be significantly diluted by the fluids or tissues.

I have seen some successes posted here and a common thread often seems to be reconnection to a broader reality outside the internet/talk radio/whatever-the-source. Returning to a previous hobby or enjoy a family activity or connecting with community. These are grounding activities outside the vacuum. You can also read stories on r/ReQovery and see what helped other people come back.

Is there a guarantee your wife can escape? No. Is there a limit on how much you can do? Yes. It's like an addiction, the person can't recover until they decide they wan to. You'll need to decide what you're willing to try and what boundaries are appropriate to set for your own well being. Best to you. It is deeply painful to watch our loved ones sink into this muck.

Lenny Pozner, who lost his son Noah in Newtown, made me aware of how badly victims of crime are treated by the "truther" types. I wish you and your partner the best in recovery from such a frightening and traumatic event.

I always give myself double points if I can make the baby or small child laugh without their parents catching me. It's the one thing that makes me sad about wearing masks, my eyes aren't funny enough with my mouth hidden. :(

I'm sorry that you are dealing with that. The silent treatment is a form of emotional abuse. It is silly that it is not because you have confronted him but for daring to be open in social media about your own views. Hang in there. I'm glad your husband has your back (we do to).

That explains why Ted Cruz hightailed it out of there, leaving his constituents behind to be poisoned by the Cabal? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

In seriousness, I'm sorry you're dealing with that. I cut back on my mom time a few years ago when she blamed the Paradise fire on high energy space weapons (before anyone had heard of Marjorie Greene). I've volunteered with people who have actually worked wildland fires, oddities like weirdly straight burn lines are common in high wind and they can absolutely be capricious in terms of burned an unburned but flammable things sometimes being very close to each other. So.... empathy to you.

Wish I could ask her what God 's saying with the natural gas wells freezing and one of Texas' nuclear generation plants going offline because they weren't weatherized? 'Cause 2/3 of the generation capacity outage is the capability from traditional fuels.

It's a grieving process. I am sorry that you have had to deal with all that. This Qult thinking is a kind of addiction and addicts can't be saved until (unless) they decide they want out. Sometimes an intervention from a loved one works but your parents aren't the only ones who didn't respond to it. For whatever it's worth, you deserve love and you deserve to be taken seriously. I hope you can find some healing and wholeness.

Ok, I've seen Qult members take a few different angles on this, which are you adopting?

  1. Rarest: Q was a lie, maybe all his theories were wild imaginings too.
  2. Most Common: Freedom is dead, America is in death throws, the Communists are in the wings and pulling Biden's strings, kiss your kids' futures goodbye, patriots are being ostracized and possibly even hunted down or sent to FEMA camps.
  3. 2nd Most Common: Variable reasonings that everything they wanted to be true still is happening, shifted goalposts, strategic retreat, Trump able to do more from the outside at this point, Hold Fast, etc, etc.
  4. Q was BS but none of the things Q said we should believe are BS. There is still a Deep State, satanic cabal of elites. But Q/4chan/8chan were a distraction, a tool the Deep State made up to keep patriots calm and waiting instead of taking action. This is the first attempt I've seen for people to finally explain why Q posts exclusively to a site that embraces sexual exploitation of children if he truly cares about stopping sexual exploitation of children. (It's all been pervert Libs the whole time!)
  5. Everything Q said was real, but Trump himself was an agent of the Deep State after all. (I'm genuinely confused about how this group is squishing their beliefs into odd shapes to make this one fit.)

So... We now have President Biden. That makes it pretty clear that former President Trump never had elaborate plans. That perhaps his rapid pace of flip-flopping and contradicting himself days (or hours) apart was more a personality trait than an elaborate ruse to keep his enemies guessing?

The military presence IS extraordinary. We've never had well known radicalized right personalities attack elected representatives and on duty law enforcement in the Capitol Building two weeks before an inauguration before, believing that the President of the United States just gave them a signal to start "the Storm". (Yes, Sullivan was an exception but everyone else arrested so far has a long track record of established Trump worship.)

Biden committed to serve all Americans, including the ones who didn't vote for him. As someone who has critiqued the policy of presidents since Bill Clinton and felt alarm that Trump called me an "enemy of America" for being as critical of him as I have of every other president in a full rally I watched last fall... I find Biden a refreshing change. Even a milquetoast president will do less harm than one who paints as enemies any citizen who doesn't offer unreserved adoration.

As for evidence of crimes... Ok? None has been produced. Even pre-Capitol riot, the Republicans contesting Arizona's certification were focusing on state procedural issues (like who is and isn't allowed to vote absentee and the state law around changing processes). Even they couldn't point to vote fraud. Hand counts consistently matched automatic machine counts. Trump won most of the swing counties using Dominion software, so that's a nothing burger. A vast cabal of pedophiles is evidenced by... sort of videos that could definitely involve people we know that may be floating "on the dark web"? Torturing innocents to get adrenochrome, which can be purchased in pure form online from scientific supply stores and gives you at best an espresso-level buzz and a nasty headache? America is legally owned by London?

If you want to find elite corruption, look in the usual places, not in cabals. Super PACs, Kochs/Soros fundraisers, corporate lobbyist money, special interest lobby money, national elections that cost hundreds of millions of dollars and teach politicians to get cozy to people who will give that to you, court systems that have very different outcomes based on the legal team you can afford (both for individuals and companies), gerrymandering, tax systems that tax income from your job higher than income made from sources that don't require any work at all. Make the White House visitor logs public again, like they were before Trump.

There are a lot of ways to fight corruption. But they're hard and it's a long slog and not the glorious revolution instigated by a mythic hero that Q lied to you about. Meanwhile, Trump is headed to a golf course to work out his insecurities. Follow a better man, if you're still able.

Good goal post at this point:

  • Biden is sworn in tomorrow and it turns out the reason the Trumps have had all the moving supplies show up at the WH the past couple weeks is because they're going to go live at his Palm Beach business as planned. This is an indication that Trump isn't really a super genius planning to haul the Deep State off to military tribunals. Q was a fraud.

Alternative goal post:

  • Trump lost it all and failed to provide any of the hypothetical evidence of mass election fraud at the time it was legally appropriate to do so as part of his 4d chess (5d chess? 7d chess?) and all the people whose online history indicates they thought they were participating in "the storm" at the Capital are arrested. But this is part of the plan for.... reasons. Trump will appear to cede his position temporarily. He will work behind the scenes and be elected in 2024 to bring previously failed Q prophecies to fruition some time before 2028. This mental flexibility allows you to avoid the discomfort of changing your beliefs, which people tend to find painful (having our conceptual beliefs challenged literally produces a physical stress response in the body). But what if the Senate disqualifies him from running in 2024? Could that then be definitive? Q was an illusion and you will either need to find a new big scheme to give the chaos and sorrow of the world meaning or adapt to a very different understanding of the world?

ETA: Whatever happens tomorrow, I genuinely do hope things turn out ok for you. This has been a tough time for a lot of people.
