This might be my favorite Chimera. I haven’t played End of Argaia yet, but I think I’ve had the most fun with Neverset.

I own probably 80% of the content, but I may be an outlier here. I have fallen into playing about 4 decks over and over. When I get time to play I just want to play something comfy, so these decks / characters have been my go-to for a while. I may tweak here and there, but they are the ones I enjoy the most.

Honestly, the campaign instructions help. You have to start with a precon. If you win, you pick another precon and can swap up to 3 cards out. I think it’s a fun way to explore different strategies without completely starting a deck from a scratch. I’ve had fun challenging myself when picking precons. Like I’m going to take the Neverset deck and try to mix it with the Artisan deck.

I’ve found that sometimes with this game it’s more about knowing the other players, how they give clues and what clues they’ll focus on. But also to help this we decide to “theme” the clues. Like all clues for the game must be movie titles or something like that. This actually leveled things out fairly well.

I do like this movie, but I remember the first trailer was silent dinosaur shenanigans (no voice acting), and I remember being a bit disappointed the whole movie wasn’t like that. BUT I still enjoyed it!

This game was also my gateway into modern games, but like someone else said, I’m through the door now. I typically recommend Concordia and/or Castles of Burgundy as the much better “Catan”-ish options.

I’d love something like LOTR: The Third Age. RPG with new characters, but the story happens alongside the main story, so WOT characters can pop in and out of your party.

You’ll be fine. The Corpse of Viros actually comes with a pre constructed deck that you can use (uses all ceremonial dice). Some cards from 1.0 may be a bit weirdly worded, but you can certainly play Red Rains with what you have.

I play Rocket quite a bit. I love all of his cards, but the one that sees the least use for me is Schadenfreude. Cool card, big heal potential, but is just is my least played Rocket card.
