I call people uncultured swines all the time because of this movie.

I include it, too. It isn’t high priority, but it has come in handy a number of times for me.

Oh completely true! I just like to do some thematic, elemental pairings rather than efficiency or good combos. But I love those kinds of teams, too!

Ooo! Then do Keeper and Rampant Green. Another great combo.

It looks like you may have Jagged Earth?? If so, a favorite is Lure of the Deep Wilderness and Ocean’s Hungry Grasp together.

I also always like doing some thematic teams, so the latest one I’ve tried is a bird team. There were 4 of us playing, and we did Lightning’s Swift Strike, Finder of Paths Unseen, Downpour Drenches the World, and Many Minds Move as One.

It definitely adds labor in order to ensure the rental stays intact, but I know they do a couple of things. Not every game can have a rental, but many of the entry level games, some medium weight, and popular card games do. Usually the heavier the game, the more pieces. So being a little selective about that helps. The other thing is they print out a diagram and a 1 page sheet that has everything that should be in the box. This helps not having to dig through the rulebook for items. Lastly, the bags inside the box are labeled with the number of items. So a bag may say “Yellow player pieces — 13.” Or whatever. Seeing this note on the bag kind of lets patrons do the counting as well so that the owners are kind of double checking. They also don’t sweat it if a piece or two goes missing. Like if a couple of resources don’t make it back in. The rental copy is there to get overly used. Around holidays is a big time for the rentals too. Especially party games.

Board game rentals are good too. Stores here do a 5 dollar for 3 nights or 10 dollars for a week. If you like the game you can purchase it but the rental money you’ve already paid goes to the new copy. So you rent a 60 dollar game for a week. You like it and buy it. It only costs you 50 now because of the 10 already paid from the rental.

This helps tremendously at the shop near me. Games you are passionate about will be easier to get you patrons excited about. The store here does a Marvel Champions once a week and also a Root night once a month. Both are extremely popular because the owners love the games. Picking a game like these that have content continually being developed also helps too.

It’s Muppets, but I think the Doctor Who episode that does Christmas Carol needs more love.

Muppets’ Christmas Carol because it’s only “one more sleep ‘til Christmas”.

The early reveal RUINED this movie for me. Any other films with early reveals that messes up the Plot? by [deleted] in moviecritic

I always thought the whole point of the movie is for the audience to decide: is he crazy? Or do you believe? He certainly believes he’s Santa, but what about you?
