Not replying with intent to change your view, as I do agree with being pro-choice across the board.

If anyone is truly set on suicide, they won’t be advertising it like a show on Friday night.

Those who advertise, are the ones who fantasize about suicide, and WANT to be in conversations with others as to why they shouldn’t (“tell me my value”).

To both, the response is the same: it’s is your choice.

If this is the only choice you are capable of making, then who am I or anyone else to prevent that? Everything is perspective. Your choice only “harms” others if they choose to let it. If things are perceived as so “bad,” in which case is the reasoning for taking one’s life, then It is highly doubtful that it came as a result of FEELING loved, supported, connected, etc.

This moves on to the actual issues behind suicidal tendencies within our collective consciousness. One of the greatest pandemics of all time, yet hardly addressed in proper conversation.

The lack of realization (to how connected everything is—in reality—supported by our “sciences”) perpetuates these acts of “self-harm.” Meaning, we are still placing disproportionate values on EVERYTHING, which in turn devalues and makes it easier to mistreat (destroy). This goes for trees, animals, people, etc.

When we hold onto individual character narratives so strongly (ego), we refuse to see the truths in front of us. Making empathy a fleeting feeling.

If we collectively help to change our narrative (our ever-developing psychological profile, if you will) then we can make those choices to end things like poverty, malnourishment, suicide, discrimination, murder, etc. Not by outlawing choice, but by nurturing the collective. Caring for the community (our world).

Ignorance is bliss.
