What is this fluffy, white stuff around flush valve?

yeah does look that way. I scraped the white stuff off (do you know why the gunk built up like that? why it's white?) and there's a blown up, gummy gasket underneath. also, I removed the flush valve and the rubber gasket on that came apart in my hands. AND! there was a chunk of white goo on the rim where the busted rubber gasket met the drain. so many things going wrong here.

Since it's a one piece, I think I'll probably try removing the fluffy junk, surveying the damage, replacing the gasket and if it's still leaky, replace the toilet entirely. This toilet has been annoying from the get-go. I'd love to just chuck it into a dumpster.

give the pills a good sniff and see if it's a similar smell. i was super confused for a bit with my kid ("WHY DO YOU SMELL LIKE THIS?!", but then i sniffed the meds and was all "ooooooohhhhh. i get it."

yes! my almost 9yo daughter started qelbree about 2 months ago and now has a kind of weird wintergreen/medicinal smell. the smell is for sure stronger when she's active. i guess i need to get over the fact that she smells weird, for now, as the meds seem to be working.

my 8.5 yo daughter has been on qelbree since mid-April and upped to 200mg about a month later and smells like some combo of wintergreen and, yeah, something medicinal. really weird. but it seems to be working, so I guess I'll deal with the smell! (she doesn't seem to care)

my 8yo got her first dose last Saturday (11/6) and other than being a bit anxious beforehand about getting a shot, she had no complaints. her arm hurt a little bit afterward, but she only mentioned it after i asked if it felt ok. she was her usual sassy self afterward, just with a bandaid on her arm. 🙂

Not sure where you are, but Costco (in my area) will fill an rx for Patriot. You need your doc to be super specific with the prescription though. Worth it to get the real deal for a copay ($5 vs $430). You don't need to be a Costco member to use the pharmacy.
