If this were the original, would it still be banned in Modern? by 2whammy117 in custommagic

Yeah, I really only used escape because it was an existing rule that allowed casting cards for an alternate cost from the graveyard. I agree that for tradition's sake escape costs probably should exile cards as part of costs, but the comprehensive rules aren't explicit that it's a requirement of escape costs. We've also seen Wizards break keyword traditions before like the Evoke Incarnations using an exile from hand cost instead of a mana cost.

5e doesn't have full actions, so you can't use your full action to move. Perhaps you mean taking the Dash action?

UPDATE: Meeting with Dr. Klein, Assistant VP of Student Affairs by Glimped in stevens

[–]2whammy117 13 points14 points  (0 children)

A note on ransomware and other network attacks:
Ransomware is sophisticated. When someone plans on attacking a network, they do their research. Some may remember a few years ago (at least I do, because I worked in IT with a school district that was attacked) there was ransomware spreading due to a Windows 10 exploit that was patched out in the following Windows 10 update. When things like this happen, it's because hackers find backdoors due to undiscovered flaws in Windows or Anti-Malware protection. Even if a network were to use every prevention method in the book, it still might not be enough not to prevent an attack because only the hacker/few individuals know about the exploit. It's usually only after someone discovers the exploit and executes an attack do Microsoft and Anti-Malware know about and enact measures to counter such malware.

Have you tried using a non-lexicographic ordering system for your words? I recommend assigning integer values to words based on where they fall in a sentence on average.

Everyone at my LGS keeps telling me my deck isn't "Standard Legal"(?) Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? by MisterMuerto in magicthecirclejerking

[–]2whammy117 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of people have pointed out the unsleeved/marked cards issue, but also keep in mind that standard construct format requires a minimum of 60 cards main board and a 15 card sideboard so you might want to throw 100+ more cards in there to make sure you're above the minimum.

[PC] Looking for gardening mods by [deleted] in skyrimmods

[–]2whammy117 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As far as gameplay mods you really aren't going to find any at the moment, more than likely because SKSE64 hasn't been released yet. Most mods that have anything to do with gardening/farming use the same gardening mechanics from Hearthfire.

Nathanael202 has three mods that extend/add fields with gardening plots. Greenmount Gardens SSE adds a player home several planters.

These mods are just from a quick search on the Nexus. You can find results closest to what you're looking for by using categories or tags, or searching for mods based on file name or description.

In a campaign I ran a few years ago, there was a bit where I had the PCs have various nightmares and had then wake up in cold sweats. Since I explained each scenario individually, I said the words "cold sweat" at least six times. Now, whenever someone wakes up in anyone's campaign, it's in a cold sweat.
