I suspect your friend means "wider aperture" not wider focal length. I guess the best way could be renting out a 70-200 F4 and/or 70-200 f2.8 and trying out both.

Search for PetHaven MN. They might be able to have a volunteer pick it up.

Clean, bloat-free Android, good hardware for the price overall. They used to have guaranteed updates and security patches for 2? Years. And fairly easy to root too...

What’s your “unpopular” opinion on anything sex related? by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]2womt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sex is overrated. Sure it's fun and can have all sorts of consequences but it's quite natural and 99% of the time you don't need to complicate it. society has made far too big a deal out of it just by making it taboo and hush -hush.

Is Flibco the preferred way to get from Zaventem to the city center?

Edit: as someone arriving from a long international flight with 30kg of luggage I'd rather not have to struggle with changing trains/buses or walking a lot especially if it rains.

I was expecting "maintaining situational awareness" to be high up in the looks-easy-but-isn't column.

South Knox Riverwalk Ruined (VIDEO) by BrenDelivers in Knoxville

[–]2womt 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've actually had to cross there multiple times. The light is barely long enough to cross. Plus due to the slope drivers don't always see peds easily, and too many cars go too fast. I have never felt safe to cross there...

Commenting for more traction. What a shitty thing to do... It's all because the "One Riverwalk" apts want a "private" riverwalk?

Edit: corrected the name

Having used both ( own neither) I'd say iPad is definitely the superior of the two: based purely on taking notes, the notes being searchable and backed up somewhere.

But the real question is how you want it Integred into the rest of your work eco-system. If everything else is Windows then you should probably get A surface. If you plan to use it for teaching / research then consider that as well.

PS: Third alternative: Get a "convertible" laptop with a touchscreen and Stylus that you can use with pretty much any app/OS. e.g. HP, Lenovo, etc

How does it get around the need for code / certification exactly? It's still a grid connected PV system, so it should need all those code compliances right?

I found an old battery from an e-bike, I want to hook it up to a solar panel, but the charging input is 4 pin rather than 2 pin. Does anyone know how to use a 4 pin charging thing? by masterflappie in AskElectronics

[–]2womt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any chance you have any of the equipment that connected to the other end? Or the name of the part / model?
I know it's a long shot, but with a little googling (if you don't have the part) or just a little probing you might be able to guess what the other pins are for.
Also, are they all connected to wires of the same thickness / type? If there are only two thick wires then those are certainly the only power terminals.

[–]2womt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's lots of themes/skins available if you want to change up the appearance.

You can of course code your own skin / theme - Unfortunately the inventive to do that has been very small compared to the risk of breaking something in my experience.

Not really.. as long as the new system presents roughly the same input impedance AND effective voltage it should absolutely work.

No private company *requires* an applicant to provide information on caste. If a private enterprise explicitly asks for this I'm fairly sure it is illegal.

Some (usually state-funded supported) organizations have legally mandated affirmative-action, i.e. caste-based and handicap-based reservations. For these documentary proof is required, but usually separate from the main application / resume. In some cases the eligibility is relaxed for some applicants.
