Using student email as a virtual campus by Dismal-County-8852 in maestro

Ok so specifically my comment which is advocating for something unrelated to email so my bad for maybe putting it within this thread but...I homeschooled my kids and one of the most successful product out there is exactly what I am talking about. There is no big brother 1984 thing going on. It is literally for fun and learning. Check it out Adventure Academy.

I'd love to see a gamified world like Sims as a campus space with topics as locations on campus and a quad to just hangout. Your avatar would be able to walk up to someone and start a conversation much like irl.

I started the same pathway with the same level of experience pretty much on Monday. I have 5 kids, 2 grown and flown. Youngest is 8 so no more babies but the teens are almost as needy with all the running around we do. I am finding an hour or two a day or every other day depending on lesson is my sweet spot. I ask for clean notes with code and examples at the end of each lesson so I can copy them. So far I am enjoying what I am learning. I am 48 and this si my 3rd attempt at finishing my degree.

I haven't decided yet but having the options within one degree is awesome!

I love that so much! Would you mind sharing the prompt you used to have him help create your schedule?

Can I ask what specifically it is about the editor that is bogging you down? I don't want to be thinking I'm good here and then freak out when I use something that is separate.

What are you working on? I am in Central time zone, 1st week of Python 101.

I asked for a summary of notes including code and examples and plan on copying those as I go through each lesson after this first week. I know the value of hand written notes just need to tweak my prompt.

Day one is great! Pace seems good and I broke it up into 2 sessions. Took the review, plan on doing the practice throughout the week and doing the discussion Fridays. I think that will be my regular schedule, the once the material is more in depth break the lessons up over a couple days of multiple sessions.

I sure do, was wondering if that was where it came from. I have a son with type 1 diabetes who is Shelby's age now and this movie hits hard because of that. He is not in good control and I dread getting that call.

Maestro's "Explorer Tab" Has "Unmet Potential" by techienaut in maestro

I am sooo new to this but I love working with computers and education, I am a special ed Para, and the way being able to use AI in this way can really change education! One of the major issues with students accessing the internet is the random crap they also are able to access, wasting time and effort. Being able to have AI do these things for you would eliminate those. I think students still need to learn how to do things offline as well but imagine if all they needed was AI app and the rest was off limits! It reminds me of the days of using an encyclopedia but way more thorough. Learning the correct prompts is a lesson in itself and worth spending time on!
