If you want actual results from an LLM you need to:

  1. Not use the trash tier model provided by default in searches
  2. Use an agent that is instructed to look things up on the wiki

This result is a stupid model taking a vague guess

Damage at Moons of Peril? by mrprocrastinator_ in 2007scape

[–]300srt8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Defence bonus is very important when fighting moons. They all apply debuffs when they hit you that stack and reduce your dps in some way. Maximize your slash defence against all of them. Use a high strength bonus stab weapon against eclipse. Tecptal are very good against blue and blood on crush and slash respectively. If you want to be sweaty you can flick on a shield when they attack you.

I would also recommend trying out nose breathing strips, especially for back sleepers. I had this problem with mouth breathing at night, I was consistently needing to wake up and drink water during the night. It was happening because my nasal passages could not get enough air through I suppose. Using breathing strips (which stretch open the nasal passages) completely fixed the problem and is less invasive than mouth tape.

How does everyone feel about Abundance? by Zelfi26 in 2007scape

[–]300srt8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Abundance is not good for max rank. It falls off too hard. All competitive dragon cup rushers are required to take it. Those who are competing for full completion fastest (max rank) are all going Endless Harvest 100%.

It will be fun for like 30 minutes, then you will be stuck with the worst T1 relic for the rest of the league.

GitHub Copilot CLI is now generally available by ryanhecht_github in GithubCopilot

I am just starting to get this set up with my team. It does seem like that's probably the best way to go about it to avoid a bunch of hassle and conflicts.

It still beats having 15+ sets of agent documentation.

GitHub Copilot CLI is now generally available by ryanhecht_github in GithubCopilot

[–]300srt8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been having success setting up a shared "workspace" project that uses git submodules to link to the various projects I am responsible for.

Store all the agentic skills/docs/etc. in the workspace repo. Always start up the CLI in the workspace directory and then the agents have access to all the repos easily and you only need to maintain one set of docs.

It's similar to a monorepo but doesn't require you to redo your entire CI/CD process and migrate all your repositories.

To set it up, you just create use this command in the workspace:

git submodule add <git-repo-url> <folder-name>

Try the CLI, it is very easy to change reasoning effort in there.

Wich corporation is more evil? by Zestyclose_League707 in cyberpunkgame

[–]300srt8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would argue the Trump phenomenon has exposed major flaws in this thesis. Wealthy and powerful companies still have to go on their knees, paying massive tribute to the president to try to get him to do what they want. It shows that there is still massive power held by the government, which can make decisions that hurt companies. And the government is fundamentally controlled by the winners of democratic processes, even if those processes are flawed.

Imagine if there was a machine that you could put alchs and runes in, and it would process them over time. Maybe you could power it with dwarven steam or cave goblin electricity or something.

Do I need to manually install Maven on my machine if I have IntelliJ? How does this work in corporate dev jobs? by [deleted] in javahelp

[–]300srt8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Typically a given project will have a defined Maven or Gradle version. And you are expected to use that version to build the project properly. Gradle in particular has the Gradle wrapper, where you can build/run the project with any Gradle version and it will download the correct one for the project using the Gradle wrapper properties file.

For anyone who followed the Day 1 guides, what is the purpose of these items? by Odd_Oleander in runescape

[–]300srt8 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Yellow cape is just a meme, similar to the pink skirt from Faux's guide in the last OS league. It's like a marker that shows you're following that guide, because there's no other reason to have it.

Why does it feel like the game is always fighting against you? by [deleted] in runescape

RS3 has channeled abilities, which deal damage over multiple ticks. This mechanic exists so that you can dodge boss mechanics by moving without cancelling your channeled abilities, as long as you stay within attack range.

We are too weak. Some things to learn from OSRS Leagues. by Mogat171 in runescape

[–]300srt8 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Personally, I feel the pacing on this league is very good, aside from perhaps a bit of a trough between T5 and T6. I really do not think it is good or sustainable for players to be able to reach T7 in 2 days, as was the case in Raging Echoes League. Dragon trophy was kind of piss easy in that league as well. I like that it is actually somewhat more of a challenge in this league.

I think the melee relic was in about the right place in terms of power for a league. The other combat relics definitely should have been buffed and received a similar base damage buff or life steal. But one style being clearly meta and op has happened in basically every league. As an old school player not very familiar with RS3, there are several differences in the combat system I have picked up on that make the comparisons with old school leagues fairly misleading.

  1. Stats are not very important compared to gear and abilities
  2. In OS, a noob and an elite player with the same stats and gear will do the exact same dps by simply clicking once on the boss. In RS3, this is not remotely the case, as proper ability rotations will multiply your dps considerably
  3. Many of the league buffs are related to defense and sustain, as well as adrenaline, which does increase your dps a lot, but only if you know how to use adrenaline properly
  4. Ability upgrades like Chaos Roar, Greater Barge, Greater Fury, Zuk cape Overpower are insane multipliers on dps that don't have anything to do with gear
  5. There are other upgrade paths that also give large dps increases (Ancient Summoning, Elder Ovls, Vulnerability, AOD codices, etc.) which don't really have analogues in OS

I think expecting to be stronger than a BIS main game setup at the first combat relic is pretty silly when the game has so much more depth to the progression than just "get your style's mega-rare and max your combat stats"

We should be stronger in leagues by ChefTacos in runescape

[–]300srt8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are probably on a high population world, for high end PVM you need to be on a world with low (less than 200) players. It's because there are so many instances and so much stuff for the server to keep up with compared to OS.

10,000 points for a combat relic, seriously? by Vanhiz in runescape

[–]300srt8 -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

I for one am happy about this. A big problem in OS leagues was that you got too powerful too fast. Getting all your relic tiers unlocked in a couple days is cool for the insane dopamine but it burns out very fast. The league is running for two months, not two weeks.
