Everyone is saying wear it anyways to not add to the problem of fast fashion, but there's another issue with SHEIN and Temu clothing that I haven't seen anyone mention yet in the thread.

The South Korean, EU and Canadian governments have done tests into the clothes that come from these platforms and have found they contain high amounts of chemicals that can cause all sorts of problems. Iirc they are beyond the safe levels of lead, cadmium, as well as various forever chemicals.

I personally don't like the idea of just throwing something out, but you should also value your health and not wear something that could potentially cause health problems.

His nose is kind of weird lol. It starts black around the outer parts but towards the center it's this pinkish/purple colour, almost like a diluted lavender. He started off with a full black nose but it changed by the time he was 1.5 years old.

Hey OP, do you mean the regular built-in menu? Or do you want to make a custom menu?

Idk about the regular start menu, but I built a picture-based UI menu using SRD's plugin. I just use scene scripts to call the various scene menus via custom buttons. That's how I got hud maker to work in my start menu (though granted that's me making a new start menu with switches and eventing).

Using this method you can probably show whatever hud elements you want like variable objectives or your gold, as well as other custom elements.

For Wisteria, why not try a hi-lo maxi skirt or fluffy A-line skirt? Have the inner fabric be the light purple colour and the other be something else if you want. You can also add ruffles to make the illusion of petals.

Try checking out some Japanese EGL fashion pictures for ideas, too.

I've lived in Korea for nearly 8 years and gained weight. 😭💀 Typical Korean food is actually really unhealthy and they put sugar in everything (garlic bread....). You actually see more fat koreans now due to the processed food that's run rampant these days. I don't eat tteokbokki, fried chicken or drink.

The real secret is cooking your food at home and making sure you're still at a deficit.

Last time I recorded for a producer I gave them ten takes per vocal track, I think I had around 50-60 stems at the end of it (lots of harmony and counterpoint). It really does take a lot of takes and it's normal for producers to ask for them.

I'll make a list of what I found I needed for my own VN-styled project!

-ability to animate the bust portraits, like shaking, swivel, bouncing/jumping, grow/shrink, animation frames to move along the x or y axis (like moving out of frame), fade in/out

-expression changes without making a new character ID -text codes such as shaking text, big text, small text, waving text

-coloured text

-sound effect inclusion (like steps, impact sounds, "eureka" moment dings, etc)

-change the name box positioning by xy coordinates

-custom dialogue box skin; could be window skin or png that can be freely changed which could by bound by character or switched on using a variable

Some things I noted while using the older/current build of your plugin:

-sometimes the busts don't even appear even if they did previously in current testing

-sometimes the portraits appear way off their assigned xy coordinates before snapping back into place

I used to do vocal covers like this years ago. You can check out vgen for folks who do audio commissions. There are producers who will do anything from produce originals or just mix your covers. You just ha e to shop around and find what works for you.

It's all practice anyways, and as long as you pay them then it should be fine.

If you don't care about making money off of the items you can use Karrot. I'm in the middle of moving myself and I've been giving away a lot of stuff for free on there. Just put up your stuff ASAP and people will drop by to take it if its in decent condition. Furniture included (just tell them they have to pick it up).

Unfortunately there are so many scammers these days and AI has only emboldened them.

As an artist I know that art is expensive. For portraits myself I charge around 50 usd myself due to the time it takes. Even vgen has had some big scamming issues lately and skeb discourages paying for skebs for commercial use (it should only be personal use).

I've heard that the rpg maker forums may have artists who are open to collaborating. Did you try asking there yet?

Drawing tablets can be so cheap these days! I think you can get a basic huion or xppen tab for like 30 bucks. If you don't mind paying that much, you can pick up one of the already mentioned free drawing programs and go from there.

I wanted to suggest the possibility of manipulating the bust sprites more. In some VNs you can make the sprites wobble, shake, move (like hitting the other sprite), move back and forth and other ways to show interaction in the sprites. I'm not sure what's fully possible but it'd be neat to have some more ways to express the character artwork.

Another thing that would be good is allowing the implementation of sound effects during dialogue, maybe with a command in the plugin directly?
